Place was very cozy, clean and lots of space. Kitchen was fully equiped and washing machine was very helpful. Moreover, the pool was very welcoming in hot days! Hostess is very friendly and kind - doing her best to make sure that her guest is satisfied.

It is a new place and I can't complain about anything. Comfortable and very good location. The road leading to the lodging is a bit disastrous so if you are with a car be careful drive slowly and mind the potholes. I didn't have that problem as I have a 4x4. Other than that there is parking on the premises and is secured with a locked automatic gate very safe. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to be central and close for Etna and surrounding villages.

My stay at Monaci delle Terre Nere was truly exceptional. This is a paradise on the slopes of Etna amidst the lush Sicilian countryside, the property exuded tranquillity and charm. I can't say enough about attentive service, gourmet meals sourced from their own organic garden, exceptional collection of art, fantastic wine tasting and cooking class.... and the sleep. i travel around the world a lot - this is one of THE best places to sleep and simply enjoy time at the hotel. and time here is sweet and slow, just like local honey.

The hotel is situated in the perfect position for a visit to Sicily. On one side you can view the Etna volcano while you eat. On the other side there is a beautiful view of the ocean. The service was amazing, the staff were happy to assist us with whatever we needed. The rooms are so modern, very clean and were perfect for our visit to Sicily.

the apartment was lacking basics such as wine glasses and a corkscrew! The stairs leading up to the bedroom were very narrow and steep. The apartment was not in Fleri but on the outskirts of another village. There are some nice restaurants within 10 - 15 minutes drive but nothing within easy walking. We had 2 great visits to Terra Costantino and Cantine Nicosia vineyards both included tasting and lunch. Both well worth visiting.

The Villa is a perfect places to stay in summer and also in winter. It has everything, nice views, clean, nice pool, big rooms and also a very well sized garden. The hosting that take care od the villa is a very gentleman he does everything to help you. For sure we will visit again. A big thumbs up and thankyou.
