Warmly recommend Albergo Centrale to all travelers. The staff is super helpful, friendly and going the extra mile for you (in my case opening the reception before the opening time). The beds are very comfortable and the pillows (often a challenge in Italian hotels) just perfect. Highly recommend the hotel to people on a bike trip as able to handle bikes and store them securly.

What an experience! Like a sleepover in a museum. Wonderful host, and easy to park. Ring the doorbell at front (or call host) and she will help open the parking gate that you can later easily open and close yourself. Not very sound proof, but this is a house from the 1700's so that was not a problem, it just enlightened the experience. Plus there are few rooms so no change of disturbance from other guests. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. This house is such a beautiful build and rich with history you will not need to read or watch a movie before bed, just looking through the story told in art on the walls is enough to keep you entertained. Located in a little town, I would definitely recommend you visit Este for dinner, specifically the restaurant "Ristorante le Strie" for a Micheline Star experience, but for 1/16th of the price.

The studio apartment was amazing, clean and warm! The wallpaper, the plants and the furniture made it that way! Small, but perfectly organized. Monica was very helpful and kind. The guesthouse is located near the town center.

Great location, staff very helpful and professional. Lovely Outdoor pool a great bonus. Rooms and hotel spotless, lots of care and thought have made this an excellent choice. Have stayed there several times enjoying the hospitality and the outdoor pool.

Very nice medieval town with a lively city centre plenty of shops and bars. The Colli Euganei are just round the corner, so its location is fantastic. Nearby there are very good tyipical restaurants with tasty local food and wines, at very resonable prices.

A charming and lively town, it can be visited in a day.

A charming and lively town, it can be visited in a day. It's a shame that the most interesting part of the Archaeological Museum is closed and it's unclear when it will reopen! Full of shops and places to enjoy a delicious aperitif or breakfast, it's the perfect stop on a longer trip.

Este is a lovely little town, well worth a visit.

Este is a lovely little town, well worth a visit. There are several restaurants where you can eat well. We also enjoyed the weekly market on Saturdays. Its location is perfect for quickly reaching anywhere in the Euganean Hills.

Este is a medieval village whose walls are primarily used as a park, unlike Montagnana, where there's a proper town within the walls. The walk along the canal from Este to Monselice (about 9 km) is wonderful, but the village itself is less attractive than the others. Trains connect the entire area very well, so you don't need a car.
