The hotel is located immediately adjacent to the historic centre, easily reached by car, and with secure garage parking on site (very important in this busy town). The staff are very friendly and attentive, and the accommodation generous, nicely designed and well sound insulated. The breakfast is also generous, with lots of homemade products and the offer of items cooked specifically.

Hotel Tirreno was superb and it exceeded our expectations. At breakfast there was a great selection of choices including hot and cold options, fresh fruit etc. The pool was fantastic but there was also a free shuttle to and from the beach with free beach chairs and umbrellas. Free shuttle at night to and from Tropea and free shuttle to and from either Parghelia or Tropea train station at check in or checkout. The hotel can organise private transfers at very reasonable prices. Wonderful, friendly staff who always went out of their way to assist.

Drapia is a typical calabrian village situated in the mountain site - very quiet were you can experience real life. It is a good point to travel to Tropea as well as Capo Vaticano and Pizzo. You have to have a car because it is not far away but the road down is not good for pedestrians. If you plan to go in august be patient in finding parking place. I recommend to leave early especially if you go to the beach or in the evening. Tropea has a great atmosphere and is situated in a rock hill you must taste aperitivo in the sunset in a main terrace with beautiful view. My favourite site in Costa degli Dei was Capo Vaticano -very elegant, with an amazing view on Lipari Islands and spiaggia groticelle, from were you can take a ride to one of hidden in the rocks beaches. Pizzo is also very interesting with the best ice cream I have ever tasted Tartuffo of Pizzo!!! If you are in august take part in harvest of red onion, unforgattable experience you can hear calabrian songs in calabrian dialect, dance tarrantula and taste typical cuisine, red onion soup or caponata with sausage!

Tropea town center can be reached in three minutes by shuttle or car. The entire property offers a relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast is impeccable, from savory to sweet. The property is clean and quiet. Each room has a small area with chairs, a table, and an outdoor drying rack. The pool is not very large, but it is well-appointed and clean, with loungers. The staff is helpful and attentive.

Beautiful view, in september the hotel was very calm and peaceful. Big room and lots of space outside. Marcello was a wonderful host. He spoke very good english and helped me with car rental/taxi booking etc.

Good staff and beautiful atmosphere. This is the perfect place to stay for those who have relaxed outside of the Tropea. The one hotel member dog is so cute and served the nice hospitality with us.
