Hotel Cala Buguto is the perfect place to relax and an excellent base to explore the beautiful beaches nearby. The hotel is very well maintained, super clean, and peacefully located—just about 10 minutes on foot (800 meters) from the stunning Baia Cornino beach. Baia Cornino was very quiet with friendly locals, and surprisingly calm even though we visited in early July. The setting is idyllic, with Monte Cofano in backround. I would always prefer this location over San Vito Lo Capo, which tends to be much busier. Valentina is a wonderful host who gave us the best tips for exploring the area, including beaches and the best local spots in Erice and Trapani. Her breakfast is legendary—every morning she prepared a variety of sweet and savory traditional dishes for guests. You can really see her love for cooking and baking in everything she serves. She offered different cakes, freshly made cannoli, traditional toast, and everything was delicious and fresh. We had the best cannoli on the entire island at Valentina’s place. We would love to come back!

One of the best places we’ve ever been! Dove sorge il sole is truly special – the views are breathtaking, especially at sunset, and the surrounding nature is absolutely stunning. The peace and quiet, combined with incredible hiking trails just steps away, made our stay unforgettable. Every morning started with a delicious handmade Italian breakfast, featuring amazing cakes and local specialties – a real highlight of the experience. The beautiful place, near to the beach. Beach is sandy with some rocks but not too many. The beach is beautiful and it's only 100 m from the house. The house is very cosy and confortable. It's in shady place so heat is not too much, it's quiet place when you can rest. The shower outside is amazing, you can wash yourself after beach,brake shower under the stars. The garden is full of flowers, lemon and olives. Its near to the restaurants, shop is a little bit farther so you need a car. These is parking space fore the car. I recommend this place for families with kids.

Custonaci is a beautiful small town with easy access to many of the attractions of western Sicily. The town offers everything you need for a nice stay without the crowds that the main attractions have. You will definitely need a car but the laid back relaxed feeling of this town is worth the short drive to busier locations. Visit the less crowed beach of Cornino five minutes away, or take the twenty minute drive to San Vito Lo Copo. Visit Trapani, Erice, Segesta, Marsala and the many towns in between easily.

Small and quiet town.

Small and quiet town. It's a strategic place to travel, very close to Trapani and Palermo. Beach San Vito Lo Capo is about 10 min by car. We couldn't find many restaurants there. I don't know if it was because we were there in September or because of a covid situation. Our favorite restaurant became Mizzica. It's mainly take away, but it's possible to stay there.

Absolutely loved the accommodation; very clean & tidy. Facilities were excellent & as it was off season; I had the villa to myself. There was ample towels & the fridge was stocked up with refreshments. Michele & Katia were extremely friebdly & prepared breakfast every morning; even offering a lift to & from Custonaci village for evening food in the restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed my 2 night stay & would highly recommend.

I liked everything! The hosts were really nice and made us feel at home. The breakfast and buffet dinner were excellent, you could feel it is all home made and the atmosphere was really nice. Very authentic Sicilian experience! We visited San Vito di Capo which was close to the hotel by car

EVERYTHING. Strategic location, between Trapani, San Vito, Erice, Palermo. A small village, but full of life. The flat super nice, large, and with every service possible and imaginable. Mrs Paola delightful, kind and super helpful. Recommended.

We were in this Baglio for 10 days. Very accessible host. Great views, close to the sea and restaurants. Good location to explore the north western part of Sicily. Not too crowded, we could really unwind. Making coffee with a percolator.
