Very bourgeoise, it has many places to chill from the pool and jacuzzi, to the inner garden with nice lighting in the evening. It also has lunch/dinner options with tasty food and wine. The room was really big and clean. The director and all the employees were so nice and welcoming. The service was amazing, the mini bar inclusive and we had a free breakfast and homemade biscuits after dinner. Additionally, we had a jacuzzi in our bathroom. I really recommend this hotel!

Wonderfully located with old world charm and lovely areas to sit in. Modern door lock system was very secure. I’d advise anyway arriving with a car to book a place in their garage. Well worth €30 as parking outside the walls is usually full. Wonderful restaurant next door Il Preludio.

The hotel was beautiful and breakfast was great. The attendant at the desk was very friendly and happy to provide us with a history of the hotel. An elevator would have been helpful as our luggage was quite heavy to get up the stairs.

Cortona is a great location for day tripping all that...

Cortona is a great location for day tripping all that Tuscany( Montepulciano, Assisi, Arezzo, Pienza, Sienna) has to offer. Parking can be a challenge, but the town itself is delight with many terrific resturants(La Bucaccia & Antica Trattoria) that cater to vistors. I could spend a month living in Cortona.

Amazing medieval city with beautiful architecture and a great atmosphere. We were there on the main holiday weekend of the year and it was very crowded. There was a food festival in the park, a photographic exhibition in various sites around the city and a band playing in the Teatro Piazza in the evening. The many churches are beautiful and there are restaurants to suit everybody - from gourmet to burgers. Never a dull moment for two days. Unfortunately it is not suitable for people with mobility problems because of the steep hills and cobbled streets.

We have stayed in Cortona three times over the past few years. We love the fact that it's not too big It has a community feel. The restaurants are very good, and there are some lovely shops. If you want to make Cortona your base, it's easy to travel to other villages not too far away.

Absolutely wonderful little Tuscan town located in a stunning landscape. Plenty of really good restaurants of all price ranges. Easy to happily lose yourself in the alleys and streets and to feel the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of the community. Don't just stick to the core of the town, do explore the other parts, go up the hill to the fortress and have a drink/snack at their bar, and enjoy the uphill/downhill walk. And aimlessly walk around, not just inside the city and its surrounding wall, read about its history and stories, have an Italian drink somewhere with no allocated appointments afterwards and enjoy! Sheer bliss!

Everything! The house , the interior & the pool are are amazing. The view down the hills is amazing , perfect spot for sunset. We had the best breakfast here on our 3 weeks travel through Italy, it had everything you can wish for (fresh fruit, egg, bread). The even offer a bar with fantastic wine & dinner with a view. You can also take day trips to wine yards etc. Perfect hotel!

We liked everything about this place. The staff were so, so friendly and helpful, especially at breakfast we experienced the best service and the breakfast buffet was lovely. The rooms were really nice and clean and we got a room with a view, of Cortona, which was a pleasant surprice. Sitting enjiying a glass of wine in the evening in the small yard, was very enjoyable.

Amazing view from the hotel. Great localization in the city of Cortona. Spa is awesome. Breakfast was very good, and the bar was top (shoutout to Claudio😊). The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Good spot to visit Siena, Perugia and Lago Trasimeno.
