Lorenzo and his mother made us feel like home and spoiled us with the most delicious food. Lorenzo helped book a wine tasting at a winery nearby and even gave us a ride there. He also showed us around in his garden where he grows olives, oranges, cactus fruit and much more. His mother is an amazing cook and prepared us a rich Italian 4-course dinner every night. We got some homemade limoncello (also peach version available) to go with the dessert. The breakfast table was like a dream come true, with both savoury and sweet items, such as prosciutto crudo, mozzarella, omelette, fluffy croissants, pistachio cake, fresh fruit and more. Even our baby got some homemade fruit purée. During the day, we visited the beautiful nearby towns of Ragusa and Scicli by car, but were happy to return to the high quality dinner table in the evening and have a chat with Lorenzo and his mother. They have a nice terrace outside where breakfast or dinner can be served, weather permitting. Our room was spotless and spacious and the bed very comfortable. All in all, their place is great value for money and can be recommended to anyone who enjoys homemade Italian food and hospitality in a quiet village surrounded by wineries and local food producers.

Comiso has no public transport and Uber does not work here.

Comiso has no public transport and Uber does not work here. The only way to get around is to get a taxi or rent a car. the town is a little old and run down but has its charm. Most places are closed in the afternoon 1-5. They open in the morning and evening. There is a lovely cafe called The Meet Cafe-the staff are super friendly and helpful. They heled us find our way around the town, would have arranged a transfer to airport to get a rental car and helped us with the language, amazing staff!. Disio is a fantastic restaurant in the town for some authentic sicilian food. Service was great too.

I'm sorry but I only rested in Comiso then I left the next morning so I didn't visit anything in the hotel it was all quiet and a good breakfast perhaps what I would avoid in the room those speakers very annoying for sleeping.

Casa Cristina saved us after our flight was redirected from Catania to Comiso. We arrived early hours of the morning and our lovely host collected us from the airport for a small fee and took us back to the apartment. Although our stay was short it was exactly what was needed - clean and comfortable. Thank you also to the travel advice given to us by the host to get a bus back to our original airport. Excellent supportive help in a country we were not familiar with! Highly recommend Casa Cristina

The location is ideal, right in the centre, which is surely the nice part of Comiso The apartment is in walking distance of anything you may want or need. We had the chance to be be there during a local flowers festival, there was a lot happening in the centre, The host Biagio was very kind; picked us up, showed us the best way to get there, and was always present and helpful for any need we may have had.
