Claudio and Annalisa are amazing hosts. It was hot, so the pool offered welcome relief. We were made to feel welcome from the first minute. Loved the balsamic tour. Evening with dinner and music under the olive trees was quite something. Don't forget to visit the stunning town of Castelvetro di Modena

Andrea and his staff are really the stars of this quaint beautiful hotel. Even thought it only has 6 rooms it oozes charm, warmth, amazing service and fabulous food and a lovely buffet breakfast is included. A trip to the local cheese factory was suggested and arranged. Wonderful! We also had an impromptu tour of some of the area with a stop atop one of the local hills for a spectacular view of the region. Locals are very friendly and there is a balsamic vinegar producer in the piazza by the clock tower. The bells of the church tower play a tune at 630pm every evening. Magical. This was our second stay here and we are planning our next trip. So worth it if you want off the beaten path and a uniquely tuscan experience.

Very nice apartment just a few minutes walk from the centre of Castelvetro. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable. The hosts were very helpful and responded quickly to any questions. When we stayed (very end of August), parking was available nearby either on the street or in a carpark just a few minutes away. Google maps led us astray a bit, so I suggest you use the exact destination provided by the hosts.

Fantastic experience! The host was amazing. They were so helpful and did everything they could to help us and make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfasts were delicious with a lovely view from the balcony. The upstairs apartment was beautiful with picturesque views over the small traditional Italian village. There were some nice cafes and restaurants in the village so it had a nice atmosphere. Very accessible by car. The location was perfect for exploring the area. Well positioned between Bologna, Modena and Maranello. There was a car rally on Sunday morning starting from the village square! Several friends stayed locally in other accommodations and we felt very pleased that we chose the best one!

The property has design and character. The view is beautiful. There is an authentic cellar for balsamic vinegar in the centre of the hotel. The food was good. The breakfast had fresh juice with fruits from the garden. The ingredients were local and good quality. The staff was very kind and friendly to us. Lucia especially, one of the waitresses during dinner, was so very kind to us. We really liked her. Also they are dog friendly!

The town had all of the services we needed for our weeklong stay oncluding nice grocery stores, a conveniet ESSO station, gelateria and a self-service laundry. We enjoyed numerous food specialities from the region.

Great location, comfortable, air-conditioned rooms, everything you need, from a coffee maker to a fridge to a microwave. Parking is only available 200 meters away in front of the restaurant, but it's not exactly safe, as everyone parks there, including petty thieves.

A small medieval village nestled in the Modena hills. Restaurants offer tempting options at reasonable prices: Il Castello wowed us with its pasta dishes with summer truffles and its veranda overlooking the lake. Guided tours are available to discover the area's excellent products. A highly recommended relaxing stop.

Fabulous hotel with amazing staff. Rooms were perfect and the views from the whole hotel are breathtaking. Restaurant is extremely good and the Wine & Vinegar Tour with Dalila was informative and fun.
