My best vacation. Taormina Garden Hotel is not only a place with a beautiful garden and access to a small, quiet beach. Thanks to the people, it really is more than that. Angelo is like an angel who will take care of your good mood and is a guide to Sicilian cuisine. Every evening you can enjoy a wonderful dinner and listen to his stories about the dish, all prepared with fresh local products. I've never had such a rest. The kindness of people is endearing. The first thing that strikes about this hotel is the position, as it sits on the top of Taormina hills and allows to enjoy amazing sea views on Taormina bay and Giardini Naxos. Pure beauty. It’s embedded in Mediterranean vegetation, very quiet and relaxing. Rooms are simple, but very clean and fresh. We were lucky to have a room in a secluded spot with our own terrace and view to the sea. Again, just perfect living! Staff very kind and professional. Last but not least, breakfast is all home made by the local chef and gives you an amazing start of the day with the best Sicilian sweets as well as salted snacks. Amazing!! Will come back again!

Villa Paradiso is located in the heart of Taormina, easily reachable by car and they offer a valet service which is very convenient! Try to get a room with view of the garde, you will get treated with sea view and the Etna! It will also be more quiet then on the street side. Breakfast was fantastic and is served on the top floor where you also have a wonderful view of the Etna. And go there for drinks as it is lovely during apero hour!

Castel Mola is a picturesque hilltop town above Taormina. There is a limited bus service but I would not recommend a car. There are lots of steps and narrow streets. The restaurants were good value. The church is interesting and there are great views of Etna.

Quaint town set on the top of a hill - quite amazing to visit! Fantastic views of Mt Etna and surrounds. Many cute restaurants and terraces. If you have the opportunity to stay for dinner the town has a different feel in the evening once the day trippers has have left. The famous Bar Turrisi is fantastic for drinks, dinner or Gelato.

It is a beautiful little mountain top village.

It is a beautiful little mountain top village. Nice hike/walk down to Taormina or easy bus if you wish. Great place to relax. I would worry about it being even more overrun with tourists in peak season but it makes sense why. If you drive by car and are not comfortable with small, steep roads - take some anxiety meds and take your time!

Quiet and quaint village.

Quiet and quaint village. The views are amazing, there are the basic shops like pharmacy and grocer in case you need something. The only downside is the frequency of the busses out of Castelmola. The first one is about 6.30am-7am to go to Taormina, and then the next one is 10am. Most shops open around 10am, except for the cafe in the piazza and the pharmacy, which open earlier. You can get anywhere in Castelmola on foot. There is also il sentiero dei Saraceni which takes you on foot to Taormina. It is a steep walk down so prepare comfortable shoes if you plan on taking this walk.

Amazing place to stay.

Amazing place to stay. We went to Taormina for the day and enjoyed Castelmola during the evenings. Amazing view of the city and Mt Etna from the castle. It was easy to get to Taormina and we used both walking paths to get upto Castelmola, we enjoyed both paths equally. Loads of good shops/restaurants in the area too. Pizzeria Nina for pizza was amazing.

Castelmola is a very nice and well maintained small village. We ate in the B&B so I can not say anything about the restaurants but there are Some nice bars. We had a parking space in front of the B&B for free

Situated on a mountain slope, with stunning views! Also has a small swimming pool. Alberto is a super host, and made us feel very welcome, offering us a welcome drink in his restaurant on site. The room lacked nothing, and the bed was very comfortable. We had our evening meal at the restaurant. Excellent food! (and live Sicilian music!) Breakfast buffet with wide choice, served on the terrace with its amazing view. Castelmola and Taormina are breathtaking, and just a 15-minute drive down the road from the structure. Highly recommended!

We had a perfect stay in Castelmola! La Chicca has the most ultimatum view to Etna. The apartment was exceptionally well equipt and gave us a feeling of a Five Star surroundings! Sitting on the terrace and look at the Etna eruption was magic, - listing to the Bulder from the Big Mountain! , - taste of Etna Rosé and some good italien music🎼🎶🎶🎵 The hostess did everything for us to experience the surroundings! Thank U For A Very Plesant Stay🇸🇯
