We stayed here whilst on the BeActive Sentiero Liguria. It is located right on the walking track in the lovely hill town of Castellaro. Breakfast is amazing, French toast, a selection of delicious cakes and a sea view. Comfortable rooms with modern design decor and art features. From the breakfast room a beautiful view from mountain and sea to be enjoyed with one of Decia’s books, perfect!

All expectations were met. there is a 10 minutes trip to Taggia, where we were travelling almost daily. Make sure the maps don't take you through Pompeiana (when we arrived we passed through it but it's longer, and more difficult, compared to the direct one. - waze was suggesting the easy one, while google maps suggested the passtring through Pompeiana road which I don't recommend)

Wonderful staff, young man, escorted us to the parking garage on our arrival. Wonderful lady at reception made a great effort in coming to our room to open door and provided a key to assist us entering our room. The balcony was an added bonus. She also made reservations at the restaurant attached to the hotel. Breakfast and dinner at the attached restaurant were delicious and really classy. The food was awesome. Exceptional customer service. Will definitely return.

Great location, very close to the city center but in the same time, the street is very quiet, it wasn't noisy at all during the night which was great.The staff is very friendly and eager to help. The room was beautiful & huge with good sized beds. The bathroom was also huge with excellent disabled facilities, with a lovely private outside space to sit. Breakfast was served on a lovely terrace by the pool, it was varied & good quality with lots of gluten free options as well as lactose free milk or soya milk options. Serving staff were efficient & polite. The pool was large & well appointed with lots of space to sunbathe. The parking was on the hotel property in front of the hotel & and easily accessible.

Desia is an incredible host. Every aspect of her B&B is done with care and meticulous detail, from the outdoor garden under our balcony, to the bright, modern bathroom, to the delicious spread and fresh cooked eggs and bacon for breakfast. All in the historic village of Castellaro. This is Italy at its finest. And the best part is the relatively limited tourist traffic. Highly recommend!

The staff were very helpful, breakfast was okay and the room was very clean. Only 15 minutes drive from the beach and 5 from the little village of castellaro, there was always somewhere close to explore. The golf course itself was wonderfully kept and staff there were always very happy and helpful too.

Fantastic setting up in the hills, room with little fridge, we had a room with a balcony where we could sit and enjoy the view. Be prepared to ride uphill on small streets! The little village of Castellaro is worth visiting.
