From the minute we arrived we were delighted with our choice of hotel. Even though it was a bit outside village they had shuttle bus to bring you to village/train station. Reception staff were fab and very helpful, Vincenco the driver was very nice. Patrizia, Tanya and Zaira in the Eden Spa were really great. Pool was fab. Restaurant staff were top professionals

We were lucky to have chosen this hotel for our stay on the Amalfi coast Very comfortable, spotlessly clean. Comfortable room with lovely balcony and view . Breakfast ok but the restaurant was really good which is not always like this in a hotel Huge pool where you can swim real laps We are planning to be back here one of these days !!!

amazing staff amazing location amazing room can’t say enough of how nice it was . We even got a free upgrade to city room and originally planned to use this hotel as landing for other places but instead fell in love with castellamare. The views are insane especially from the terrace and such a nice view at breakfast too!! Will be 100% coming back with the whole family this time !!!

Small parking, we left the car for 2 days. Very convenient location, 7 minutes walk to the train to Sorrento and 13 minutes walk to the port to take the direct ferry to Capri. Pompeii can be reached quickly by car. Very warm welcome, offered juice/coffee with sweet biscuits upon arrival. Quick solution to all problems. A very good breakfast. Very friendly service staff.

Castellammare is a lovely city, very authentic and very enjoyable to visit and immerse into the Italian lifestyle. Nice shops, lovely restaurants and bars. The Museum archeologico di stabia is a must-see to learn about the eruption and all of the archeological sites around the Vesuvius. People are very friendly and hospitable. there is a good shuttlebus service and excellent train service to many sites along the coast.

There is not a proper beach, i.e. with sand.

There is not a proper beach, i.e. with sand. It's more a grassy area and places where you can sit but not really next to the sea. The esplanade was pleasant and quite busy. The restaurants we tried along the sea front served good and not too expensive food. It's good to use this place as a base to see Pompei and Sorrento, where accommodation is in general more expensive.

Castellammare di Stabia is a normal working town and much...

Castellammare di Stabia is a normal working town and much less touristy compared to Sorrento and the Amalfi coast. It has great views across the Bay of Naples towards Mount Vesuvius. It is on the Circumvesuviana train line, so easy to get into Naples, Pompeii and Sorrento without a car. It was a very friendly and welcoming place. There are quite a few restaurants to choose from, although opening days and times were a bit erratic.

The sea front with its elegant buildings and promenade is extremely attractive. The views towards Vesuvius are spectacular. The town itself does not seem anything special but it is much quieter than Sorrento which was somewhat overrun when we visited. At the same time, Sorrento is easily accessible.

The city is medium and what I don't like but this looks to be Italian style, they close the shops/stores to early ( about 20:30 ) ; for me a place on the sea cost acting like this is unusual !

A good base for somewhere outside of Sorrento that is a little cheaper but with good transport links. From the port we got ferries to Sorrento, Capri, Amalfi and Positano. There is also a train service but we didn't use this. There are some great restaurants around, Please try Capri Blu and the best Ice cream at K2.

Beautiful hotel with excellent views of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. Exceptionally clean, with a lovely sized bedroom and bathroom. The staff are absolutely superb (special mention to Vincenzo and Gennora) and really make the stay special. The location is perfect for exploring the Amalfi coast, or visiting Capri or Pompei. You can walk to the local town, although it is a hilly 30-40 min walk. Breakfast & the hotel restaurant were both very good.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, making it a truly comfortable and inviting space. We were particularly impressed with the well-equipped kitchen and the comfortable beds. The location was perfect, within easy walking distance to centre,beach and train station. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting amalfi coast.

We have really enjoyed our stay, the staff is really friendly and always ready to help. Every detail of the hotel is just right, and it smells great. Especially the rooftop terrace is great! Location is perfect as well, just a short walk to the beach, the boulevard with many restaurants and the train station.

The location is exceptional. Our suite was superb and clean with all the facilities. The hotel has a large parking lot for which they charge (not great). The hotel has a good swimming pool, private beach, bar and pier. It was a perfect honeymoon location 😍
