We had a great stay at this resort. I will certainly come back again! We booked a room with sea view, it was quite spacious and of course the view was breathtaking ! Beds were comfy and the terrace perfect for an evening drink watching the sunsets over the sea! The staff is incredibly kind and nice, we felt taken care of at any moment. They were always keen to help with baby food and all sort of arrangements. The best part was probably the restaurant, as you would expect in the part of Italy: wide choice of food and beverages for breakfast and tasty meals at supper. I miss those dinners already :) Swimming pool is also nice, and it has a bar where you can have drinks and snacks. The place is easy to reach, parking is large and you get a card to move at your discretion.

We loved our stay here. The host is very friendly and accommodating. The house is perfectly situated just outside of Castellabate and the rooms are beautiful, clean, and with aircon which is great in summer. The view from the terrace is stunning and the breakfast was delicious too. If we did it again we would stay a bit longer and use it as a base to explore the local area.

Cozy picturesque village on a mountainside with small staircase streets. There are a handful of restaurants, all of which are unfortunately a bit pricey. The food is okay, but not the best I've had in Italy. There is no bakery in town.

San Marco di Castellabate is ideal for those seeking comfort and tranquility; but if you want beautiful beaches, you'll need to take a car. As for the hilltop town, the traffic system needs to be reassessed; the road is dangerous, especially at night. In Santa Maria di Castellabate and San Marco di Castellabate, everything is fine; all the restaurants in the area offer good food.

It's a popular Italian destination, with a family atmosphere...

It's a popular Italian destination, with a family atmosphere on the beaches. A remarkable exception is the Appodo hotel and thalassotherapy center next to the port of San Marco: beautiful beach, lovely pool, good restaurant, and an establishment with a beautiful family history.

Reliving the places seen in the film "Welcome to the South"...

Reliving the places seen in the film "Welcome to the South" certainly lends a special charm. Castellabate is certainly beautiful in itself, and the view from up there is truly impressive. It has certainly lost some of its authenticity due to mass tourism, which is normally unheard of in Cilento, except for two or three other towns.

The village of Castellabate is quaint and full of beautiful views. The view from the panoramic terrace is stunning. A ten-minute drive takes you to the sea, with its sandy bottom and crystal-clear water.

Staff were friendly and helpful from the start. Our room was spacious, clean and sea facing with a well furnished balcony. Breakfast was an excellent choice of fresh fruit, pastries plus eggs and cold meats/cheese. We dined at Il Cefalo restaurant on most nights because of the excellent food (something not often found in 3/4* hotels!) Great service, quiet location. Lovely place to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary and we'd certainly go back.

Simply lovely hotel. The girls were always smiling and did everything to make our stay memorable. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with home made cakes, fruit, etc… Great dinner with local dishes and a lot of fresh seafood. The building is cosy and has a tasteful interior with bright rooms. Very nice garden and small pool. Fantastic sea view. The location is very quiet and beautiful. We wish we could have stayed longer.

This was a wonderful hotel located in an ancient estate in Castellabate. The host family was wonderful, super friendly, and the breakfast was great. My parents stayed here and loved the whole time. Parking inside the property was extremely convenient and very useful for our classic car! I highly recommend this hotel!

Incredible location right in the heart of Castellabate (literally 44 paces to the piazetta). It was lots of fun exploring the small alleyways and having everything you need on your doorstep. Hot tip: BOOK A DINNER RESERVATION. It gets very busy in the evenings in Summer, so book to secure a table.
