In the plains of vineyard fields and olive trees, driving a couple of kilometres in the middle of nowhere lies this beautiful restored guest house. Although we came in late, they still greeted us with open arms. Rooms were clean and modern styled, as you can see from the photos. All the staff helped in making this a very romantic getaway. It is a great place to find tranquillity, peace, and recharge while being in luxury. A big well done to all.

We cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was! Marco and Eugenia (and Spank too!) were beyond generous, welcoming us and including us in dinners with friends and family. They had excellent suggestions for where to go and what to see, as well as information on how to experience the surrounding areas. We have never felt so comfortable anywhere we have stayed. It was clear that every little thing has been thought through, from the decor, to the food, to the amenities. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about our time. We stayed for over two weeks, and can say that without a doubt, if we return to Puglia, there is no question that we would return to stay again, as it would be our first thought and choice!

We arrived to the accommodation pretty late, it was almost 11 pm, but we had no problem with our hosts, although it was later than check-in usually is. They opened the door remotely, and gave us all needed information of how to get there, and how to enter. Previously, our communication was perfect, we were texting to each other, Michelangelo provided all details and answers to our questions. For breakfast, Valeria arrived early in the morning, and it was nice and decent, usual Italian with lots of sweets. Location was perfect for us, only minutes from Castel del Monte we wanted to visit. All in all, excellent experience, and we would always recommend it.

Stunning castle well worth seeing.

Stunning castle well worth seeing. Book tickets in advance from their website (€7) - there are limited numbers, and you avoided queueing to get in. The ticket is only to go inside - you can walk around the outside for free. The inside is worth seeing though. There are signs, and sometimes people, telling you that the road to the castle is closed or limited access - tell them you are going to the Taverna Sforza, they have their own car park next to the castle for only €3, and you have a right of access to go there. The walk up from the main road is longer and steeper than you think! You can also go up at night and see the outside illuminated for free.

Hotel is created on the base of an old residence house with a lot of taste and attention to detail. Our room had an imazingly high ceiling, tastful decoration. Host provided small things like umbrellas on the rainy day without asking for it. Attention to the guests is at the top level. Beautiful garden, amazing view on the Castel del Monte, olive trees. Breakfast served with high-quality products, as everything else at that place. We will recommend the place and with pleasure come back. Many thanks to the host.
