In the plains of vineyard fields and olive trees, driving a couple of kilometres in the middle of nowhere lies this beautiful restored guest house. Although we came in late, they still greeted us with open arms. Rooms were clean and modern styled, as you can see from the photos. All the staff helped in making this a very romantic getaway. It is a great place to find tranquillity, peace, and recharge while being in luxury. A big well done to all.

Hotel is created on the base of an old residence house with a lot of taste and attention to detail. Our room had an imazingly high ceiling, tastful decoration. Host provided small things like umbrellas on the rainy day without asking for it. Attention to the guests is at the top level. Beautiful garden, amazing view on the Castel del Monte, olive trees. Breakfast served with high-quality products, as everything else at that place. We will recommend the place and with pleasure come back. Many thanks to the host.

This B&B is in a beautiful location, the grounds are great to relax in and enjoy. Cinzia and Mike are amazing hosts and made us feel right at home. Our two year old loved playing with them and the family dog. All the food Cinzia made, both breakfast and dinner, was absolutely delicious. We thought we'd have dinner at the b&b once or twice but ended up having it every night, it was just so delicious and relaxing.

Just two km far from Castel del Monte, in a quiet street, the owner was very nice, because of a bad weather we came earlier. It was a small cottage with kitchen and bathroom and heating, which was important because it was cold.

The Villa was very nice with a great pool..also Guiseppe gave us lots of stuff to look at..a Must see. The staff gave us a good feeling, very well maintained villa with all stuff u need.. i would say..a hidden gem! there a only 3 rooms wich have everything u need.

The house has an excellent location to visit the Trani, Andria, Barletta area. It is very nice between the olive and wine yards. The owners were very helpful and the house was excellent. Good accommodation for a holiday.

Stunning castle well worth seeing.

Stunning castle well worth seeing. Book tickets in advance from their website (€7) - there are limited numbers, and you avoided queueing to get in. The ticket is only to go inside - you can walk around the outside for free. The inside is worth seeing though. There are signs, and sometimes people, telling you that the road to the castle is closed or limited access - tell them you are going to the Taverna Sforza, they have their own car park next to the castle for only €3, and you have a right of access to go there. The walk up from the main road is longer and steeper than you think! You can also go up at night and see the outside illuminated for free.

...the exterior of the Castle is poorly maintained, dirty, and poorly maintained. It's incredible that in such a place, just a few meters away, there's a crumbling structure, completely abandoned and in disrepair, ruining the view in a truly embarrassing way.

It's an impressive castle, its size making it stand out from afar. It's open to the public, but don't expect too much. However, you do get a fantastic view! That alone is worth a visit. Park in a large lot, then take a shuttle bus (paid) to the castle.

A magical place. A uniquely unique structure.

A magical place. A uniquely unique structure. Incredible views. Opening hours may change due to summer temperatures. Closing at 6:45 PM is detrimental. I recommend choosing an entry time after 5 PM.

We visited Castel Del Monte in the afternoon and returned in...

We visited Castel Del Monte in the afternoon and returned in the evening to see it illuminated again: beautiful at both times of day. We always ate very well at the nearby restaurants. Castel Del Monte is easy to reach and get around.

No French-speaking guide, so the visit was pointless.

No French-speaking guide, so the visit was pointless. Apart from the castle, there's nothing within a 15km radius. It doesn't warrant an overnight stay nearby; it's better to stay in Trani (a very beautiful city). It was impossible to find a restaurant on Monday.

Excellent value, brand-new hotel and facility with an incredible kitchen. The pool is amazing - so huge and clean, with so much seating and deck space. Rooms are spacious with a steam shower and individual patios to relax outside. The staff is really responsive and easy to get ahold of via text or at the front desk. Highly recommend the on-site restaurant - we were blown away by the meal we had!

It feels totally isolated and deserted. You hear noone and nothing when the restaurant is closed and everyone has gone home. The room, which seems a renovated outbuilding is very spacious and well appointed. Good aircon which is needed during the hot months. It is nice to sit outside in the bar area, and chill. You have a full view of Castel del Monte at all times.

The view of Castel Del Monte on a hill in the distance is great. Dining room areas are very tastefully decorated and furnished with a casual up market vibe. There is a rooftop jacuzzi pool, but this cost 20 euros per person (not correctly described in the booking.com information.) Amazing breakfast and very helpful staff.
