I loved the feeling of staying very rural, the accommodation was just perfect. Spotlessly clean and even with the language barrier was still a lovely experience. The breakfast was very nice. I even had a garage to put my car in.

I stayed at Cascina Domina while hiking the Via Francigena. The place is wonderful - exceptionally beautiful and welcoming. My hostess was very warm, hospitable and helpful, and my room was very large, clean, and well-equipped, perfect for my purposes. The dinner at night was terrific, as was breakfast the following morning. Highly recommended!

There are no superlatives to describe the beauty of Ca' di...

There are no superlatives to describe the beauty of Ca' di Fra, located directly in the citadel of Casalborgone, in the heart of the historic center. The rooms are spacious, with very comfortable beds and closets. My room had a beautiful en suite bathroom with a spectacular shower and was well stocked with soaps and cosmetics. If you stay here, you will be immersed in the precious silence of the Monferrato Hills, awakened by the crowing of roosters, pampered by the immense light and exquisite aromas of the Monferrato countryside. Breakfast, which consists of biscuits, coffee, tea, brioche, and high-quality milk, is a perfect match for the ancient and timeless beauty of the house. The kindness and courtesy of the hosts (who helped us find bikes, restaurants, taxis, etc.) is extraordinary. You are less than two minutes from the Casalborgone Castle if you stay here. We will definitely return.

Casalborgone is well-located in Piedmont for visiting...

Casalborgone is well-located in Piedmont for visiting interesting places. It's close to Turin and beautifully situated in a green, hilly landscape with charming little villages dotting the hillsides. The region boasts several pleasant restaurants where you can relax and appreciate the local Piedmontese cuisine.

The cleanliness.

The cleanliness. The quality of the breakfast: Although simple and without unnecessary frills, very good and served with great care. Francesca's kindness and attentiveness—if I had to rate them from 0 to 10, I couldn't because I'd have to give her a 20.

A wonderful place to unwind.

A wonderful place to unwind. The small scale and tranquility make it a great start to your holiday. Stunning views and lovely, clean rooms/suites. The suite has a balcony with a beautiful view and outdoor furniture. It's wonderful to sit outside on the terrace with a cappuccino after breakfast. You'll want for nothing.

Beautiful rooms with every comfort.

Beautiful rooms with every comfort. The mosquito screens on the windows and the open doors were fantastic. A well-prepared breakfast. The exceptionally friendly owner goes above and beyond to arrange anything. A great location for visiting Turin, but also for enjoying the less touristy Piedmont region.
