Beautiful apartment where the hosts paid lots of attention to detail. It is located in walking distance to the old town and nearby beautiful beaches. Our room had a private terrace which we enjoyed as well. We were welcomed in a very warm way, the hosts provided plenty of tips what to do at daytime and where to go out to eat, we were given free little bottles of water every day - they really went above and beyond! Free WiFi was fast and great, we just had to turn the router off and on again to get it started.

Carloforte is an old village of colorful houses, you can breathe an air of joy and friendly people. The only thing is that there is not much tourist information of the place, very bad signage on the road to find the beaches, they charge tax for 3 to 5 euros to use the cutlery on your plate of food in restaurants and we find it INCREDIBLE, if one pays that because you can not take the cutlery? Nowhere in the world do they charge for cutlery. And this happens all over Sardinia. I recommend a gelateria in front of the DECOLMAR boats, a yogurt ice cream with a delicious cherry sauce, it is attended by his father and son ... IL DIVINE FRUIT. A delicious pizza in the PIZZERIA NAPOLI near the square or central park of Carloforte is served by father mother and daughter, local and family businesses and we liked that, it benefits local tourism.

We enjoyed driving around to the far side of the island which isn't very big. We especially liked Il Colonne area on the southern side of the island. The beaches that we saw were mostly rocky beaches and not sandy.

Lovely little island to visit for a few days.
Lovely little island to visit for a few days. We stayed in the town, which was great. You only need 2 nights really though.
If you like snorkelling make sure you visit Cala Sapone on Sant'Antioco, the island next door to Carloforte. It's a little cove, and if you swim out a bit it's absolutely insane!! My favourite beach day of two weeks in Sardinia by a long way.

Worth to visit especially during September and October, out of the crowd of tourist. You can walk along paths from beaches to cliffs or hills, swim, ride a bike or have relax on the beach, watch the endogenous Eleonora's hawks. Carloforte is warm and cosy village.
Exceptional agriturismo with friendly conversational owner who prepares a super breakfast with focaccia straight from the oven, homemade cakes, great café and savoury options if you can manage! 😋.
Wonderful tranquil location 2 mins from Carloforte with beautiful dawn views from the terraces 👍. Great beaches a few mins by car or bike, easy access to Isla Diving and superb sites around San Pietro 👌.
We had a fantastic week based here and will doubtless return in the future 😄!
We a had a great experience in this apartment. Location is great, 5 min. walk from Carloforte centre. Apartment itself is in a quiet and nice place. No problem with car parking. The owner Francesca was super nice and very helpful. The room was convenient, cosy and spotless. Breakfast was also tasty ( fresh croissants from a local bakery ! ). The owner started her business only this year so everything is new and fresh. Wish her best luck !
Michele and Fabio’s client service was exceptional. They consistently went above and beyond for us to ensure that we had a great stay. We were able to see lots of hidden gems that we would have otherwise missed on the island thanks to Michele’s map.
The room was great - modern and spacious and extremely clean. It was in an ideal location at the heart of Carloforte.
Would highly recommend staying at Aquamadre.
Our stay was incredible. Pasquale and Anna were perfect hosts in every aspect of our stay. Always attentive to our needs. Generous with their time and genuine warmth.
The room was perfect, as was the delicious breakfast which they served every morning. Lastly the location was perfect. We recommend their property to anyone looking for a fabulous stay in Carloforte.
Gracious hosts who Pasquale and Anna really made are visit to Carloforte special. They provided restaurant suggestions (all excellent), maps and for island stops. We had very comfortable accommodations -each room was individually decorated attractively by Anna. The breakfasts were ample - lovingly prepared by our hosts who made delicious tarts, and pastries.
Particularly quiet place suitable for a regenerating holiday; excellent breakfast with multiple healthy cheered by the presence of Otto and Olivia, two French bulldogs- Mrs. Mariangela takes care of every detail, offering a service worthy of a 4-star hotel.
Casa Tonina has a perfect location in the hearth of Carloforte.
The house is nicely renovated and furnished, respecting the style of the village.
The owner is very kind and she pays attention to every single request of the guest.
Everything. Especially the breakfast and the decorations- lots of abstract expressionist works. Very stylish, opposite the ferry, and the same owners of Carloforte’s best restaurant, da Nicolo. so you get a discount. Very nice staff
Very friendly hostess! Beautiful home! Charming style. Felt at home. Stay is a B&B format. Easy location near Carloforte.
Stayed an extra night. Breakfast was good!
Dog friendly home. Adorable French bulldogs.
The location was excellent. About 10 minutes from the port and 5 minutes to centre of town. The room was spacious. Bathroom had great amenities. Breakfast had a good selection of Italian and continental foods
Our visit was exceptional! We needed a mini break snd found tranquility and peace at this hotel. Food and service was great, pool was clean and warm. Kid friendly and beautiful setting. Highly recommend!
Our room was extremely comfortable and quiet, nice bathroom, good breakfast, good bed, clean. Incredible value. We absolutely loved Carloforte. Easy to walk everywhere and a very friendly town.
Everything about the hotel - location, rooms, breakfast, service, family that owns it provides all the information you need to explore the island and gave the best vacation if your life!
The flat is right at the heart of Carloforte, there are lots of shops and restaurants in the area. Particularly good fruit and veggies right in front of the flat.
The hotel is well positioned and the terrace for breakfast is priceless. But the sound proof between the rooms could be improved as you can hear everything:-(
Fairly expensive camping like hotel, not so great value for money.
Location was very nice though.
Frankly, breakfast is to be avoided, honestly very poor.
