The location was good for us as we wanted somewhere not far from where the ferry (from Corsica) disembarked and near the main road / motorway to travel on to France. Both the lady running the Airbnb and the other lady who welcomed us were friendly. We had to test our knowledge of Italian as neither spoke much English or French but it was fun and they did their best (as did we!). The room was nice : it is an old building (like a state home in England) so very stylish but the bathroom is a little old fashioned. It was extremely clean though and very pleasant. We opted for the sweet breakfast (croissants etc) and it was good, with a beautifully strong coffee.

Building no architectural wonder externally, But beautifully finished inside. Rooms comfortable and nicely finished. Lovely exterior with spa area. Staff forgot that we’d booked 2 singles for the kids, but worked quickly to rectify problem despite being fully booked with additional bed in room. Charismatic, interesting owner very in to cars. Good place to stay if you have a special car as it’s off the beaten track, but close to autostrada and has secure parking.

A beautifully renovated village house on the main but very quiet street. The room and bathroom were a good size and very comfortable. The breakfast room was lovely too and the breakfast itself was very nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return. The host was lovely and even booked a table for us in the very good restaurant in the next village which was a short car ride down the hill. We used the location, inland of the Italian riviera to drive through the very pretty Barolo countryside.
