Aquazzurra is a beautiful apartment complex. Very tastefull layout. We had a two floor apartment with roof patio for 5 nights. Very nice pool area. Elevator. Inside restaurant with affordable food. Friendly staff. Short distance to supermarked, restaurants and shore line to lago maggiore. Renting a parking space in the garage is recommended. Cannobio is a beautiful italian old town with a overflow of restaurants down at the sea promenade.

I have been going to Cannobio for nearly thirty years it is...

I have been going to Cannobio for nearly thirty years it is a little gem on Lago Maggiore and is the essence if an Italian town. There are not many English or UK tourists, which makes it good to practise Italian. It sits on the lake with an amazing Sunday market and emits a feeling of comfort and home for me I should say its horrible to keep it a little secret but it is a great place to visit with amazing restaurants and good quality food with prices for all budgets and campsites too

I`ve been visiting Cannobio on and off over the past 14 years. My favourite place on Lago Maggiore and beats Lake Como! Most of its charm derives from its wide, 700 year old piazza overlooking the lake and back by a beautiful, well preserved and well maintained old town. Good food and a variety of restaurants. Wonderful atmosphere.

Historic village - small town out of late medieval times

Historic village - small town out of late medieval times with a lovely position on Lago Maggiore. Also very nice area, maybe visit Lago di Orta with Orta San Giulio or Pella. Scenic side roads, not overcrowded. Small villages close by.

Cannobio was great, the piazza were full of people enjoying...

Cannobio was great, the piazza were full of people enjoying the warm sunshine beside the lake!! It was wonderful 👌 We’d love to come back to this gorgeous village, the markets on Sunday were outstanding with lots of clothes, jewellery etc not sure how often they’re on. We stumbled on them accidentally and were very happy 😀

Cannobio is a nice Italian town. It has - a pedestrian zone in the historic city center with a lot of little shops - a nice litte harbour area with some restaurants and a really good ice cream shop - beautiful surroundings (Lago Maggiore, Monte Giove, Monte Carza, Valle Cannobio Good starting point for hiking adventures!

It is a nice town at the lake.

It is a nice town at the lake. One week was a bit long, market day is every Sunday and this is not something I personally enjoy. Did a boat trip to isola Bella which was super nice. Hiked to the grotto and swam it ice cold water.

The property had direct access to the lake. There was a beautiful garden to relax in.We stayed in 2 apartments behind the hotel that had a small balcony and wonderful view of lake and mountains.We also had our own small private car park by the apartment which was very safe.The apartment was spotlessly clean and quite large- easily spend a week here. Breakfast on the terrace was perfect. The town of Cannobio was a few miles down the road with plenty of good restaurants.

Very good breakfast - very peaceful place - beautiful gardens and really nice terrace for eating and relaxing. It was also a nice option to use the free bikes. Good location - short walk to the lake and restaurants. More like staying in a country house than a hotel - very relaxed and easy atmosphere. Will be even better if they can build a swimming pool which they plan to do.

The whole stay was excellent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and served in a most amazing dining room. The hotel Pironi must be the best in Cannobio, in fact all of lake Maggiore. We recommend it unreservedly.
