I wish we could have stayed here for our entire trip. It started with the super nice host who waited for us till we arrived in the late evening. Our room was super! Everything was there what was needed. We woke up with an Beautiful view! The breakfast was perfect!! Super rich! Fresh croissants, fruits and cakes, we enjoyed it a lot and would definitely recommend this hotel!

Very nice accommodation with a great, well-kept garden with wonderful plants and trees. The house with the apartments has an ideal location, you are within a few steps directly at the lake. The hostess gave us a very warm welcome. The apartment is very clean & nicely furnished. Everything was great, we would love to come back!

The room was amazing: really 5 ⭐️ authentic (!!) quality with a soul: Italian floors, classy wooden furniture, marble bathroom, comfy beds and cushions,… Breakfast was LOVE ❤️ The owner, Luigi and his lovable staff make sure every detail is better than you can ever dream of! If possible, I would rate it 11! A volonté doppio espresso, latte with oat milk, eggs made to perfection, Italian cheeses & ham, healthy yoghurt and powerfood grains, a wonderful selection of home made cakes, Prosecco,… Congratulations to everyone. This is what true hospitality is 🥂 Luigi, grazie mille - you ARE an angel!

We received a good map at the tourist information and found...

We received a good map at the tourist information and found the hiking routes easily. Paddling to the isola Cannero was nice, one day 30 min, the other day 1 hour. The drive up the hill was a bit challenging with small roads, with a regular pass car ok, with larger vehicle not to recommend. Taking the fary boat was good price and nice to see the lake from the water side. Locals were all friendly and helpfull, in supermarket, tourist info and dentist. With english you manage most of the times, yet to know minimum the basics in italian language is beneficial. Very nice also was the small oldtimer event in the center of the town. An appartment above the town is great in terms of view, camping place direct at the lake seemed to be very nice, also. Cannero, be aware of many steps ;-), depending on where you stay and what you do. We surely enjoyed our stay at Cannero Riviera and the activities there and around.

Cannero Riviera is a quiet spot on the shores of Lake...

Cannero Riviera is a quiet spot on the shores of Lake Maggiore in a perfect position for sightseeing trips around the lake , including into Switzerland, both by car and by boat. It is served by a very picturesque foot passenger ferry terminal. For such a small place there are plenty of eating options including restaurants, pizza places and gelateria but limited options for shopping. However that need not be a problem as there are great weekly markets at Connobio and Luino both of which can be reached from Cannero by ferry. Can thoroughly recommend a trip to Ascona in Switzerland and the Borromean islands just off Stresa as places to visit

A lovely relaxed hotel, beautiful room & balcony.

A lovely relaxed hotel, beautiful room & balcony. All the staff were delightful. Outside eating & drinks beside the lake were very special. Situated on a quiet lakeside situation, no busy traffic. Would absolutely recommend this hotel. We went on the hotel organised boat trip to Isola Madre & Isola Bella, really good, stress free day.

Cannero Riviera is a beautiful little town, nestled on the banks of the lake. For us we felt it was very authentic Italy. Around the area where short and long walks. The views are amazing. Water taxis are a fun way to see the lake.

This hotel is superbly and tastefully furnished, and the location is idyllic. The staff was very friendly and efficient. My partner and I appreciated the quality of the services and we will certainly come back. A very big thank you to Giuliana with whom I had a few email exchanges before the stay about particular requests which were all satisfied and made this stay an unforgettable moment.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. Right on the lake. We ate at the hotel, which was part of a resort. We also ate at the other hotel. It was very tasty, and the service was excellent. There was a third restaurant that was okay, but not great. Cannero Riviera is a good base for exploring the surrounding area.

I was given a very warm welcome on my arrival, I was shown to my room which had a lovely private grassed area outside with seats and a lounger, with fantastic views over the lake. The guest house is a short walk into the village by the lake promenade to visit the restaurants and bars. If you're after a quiet nights restful sleep this is the place to stay. A very good breakfast is available at the adjacent hotel just a stone throw away.
