Hotel Gran Paradis is an exceptional boutique hotel. It was immaculately clean; warm, friendly and hospitable staff; facilities were perfect for our family of four. The food was excelllent and diverse during our 4 night stay and extremely accommodating to my celiac/gluten free spouse. Creative and delicious Dinner 3-4 courses plus a salad bar, with exquisite service. Breakfast easy and filling with varieties of fresh fruit, meats, cheeses and breads. The rooms were cozy, but elegant and had a clean chalet style. Had all the amenities to relax and enjoy downtime.Wonderful views of mountains everywhere. The facilities were perfect to relax;two saunas to accommodate - textile free sauna and swimsuit sauna, warm solarium, spacious pool and relaxing outdoor hot tub. The staff are very kind in this family run hotel. We also enjoyed the hotel bar to relax with our family to play cards. Ski shuttle in hotel parking lot made my hard to impress sons very happy! Location in town is perfect and access to surrounding trails ensured we didn’t use our car the entire trip- we could walk easily to everything. Free outdoor parking was also nice but there is indoor garage parking. We travel in Europe frequently and this hotel is everything we were looking for: excellent service; clean, modern rooms; facilities to relax; great location; delicious, fresh food; and a welcoming family environment! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

We stayed 6 nights and everything was fantastic the breakfast was lovely plenty to eat the room was spacious and clean also loved the spa and pool and Giorgio the owner and staff were so lovely we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel with some nice restaurants a few minutes walk up the road especially residence kamerloy pizzeria restaurant which was our favourite fantastic food and lovely staff.I would just like to say a big thanks to Giorgio for making our stay in the dolomites one of the best holidays we have ever experienced we will never forget you .

Will start with saying that we will go there again! The location of the hotel is on the main street on 10 minutes walking distance from the Col Rodella gondola to the ski zone, with big parking in front and beautiful view from the back side of the hotel. Nothing more to want as location - excellent. The rooms (we had 3 person and 2 person rooms) were flawlessly cleaned every day, which for a family with a small kid (4 y.o.) is crucial. We were in a 3 person room, having the main room + "extended" room with sofa bed closed with sliding doors. We got 2 terraces with beautiful views. Beds were big and very comfortable, the bathroom was as well big and without any flaws. It was always hot and comfy in the room, the hot water was always there, despite if it is at noon and you are the only one in the hotel or it is the late afternoon and everybody are back at the hotel from the slopes and are taking a shower. All furniture, walls, light switches and everything in the room as a whole appeared as brand new. The 2 person room does not differ from everything written for the other one besides there was no "extended" room and ONLY one terrace. We were with included breakfast from a block table. No big variety of foods during the whole week, but the ones that were there were very delicious. The coffee was TRUE coffee and not the muddy water a lot of hotels are providing for free with the breakfast and keeping the other as a paid option. But I would have been surprised if this was not the case given the fact we were in Italy! :D We didn't had included dinner, but there was a la cart menu as well as "choose from a list" meals and a salad bar. Tried all of them and were delicious. There was a small SPA center at the hotel, but we did not used it. The staff were always with a smile and looking for a way to help.

Lovely small town, easy to get around quickly.

Lovely small town, easy to get around quickly. A decent selection of restaurants but they do get booked up so would recommend booking in advance! Could do with another apres bar as really only one in centre of town :-)

We were here between seasons (October) so most places were...

We were here between seasons (October) so most places were closed, including the lifts. However it was still beautiful and with a rental car, it is possible to drive up to Passo Sella and take a quick hike to where the Campitello lift would take you.The Passo Pordoi lift was still running and that is an impressive view and a fun (windy) drive to get to. In the past, we have been here in September which is either rainy or beautiful, and a quick drive to Canazei for more food/store options if desired. If you here at the right time, see if El Resole in Alba di Canazei is open serving fantastic pizzas!

Campitello din fFassa and the entire Val di Fassa aria is worth visiting. A lot of activities (walking,hiking, biking), good food, nice people. Great views of the montains, great infrastructure for tourism.

Campitello is a great place to ski.

Campitello is a great place to ski. From here you have a convenient connection to the entire Sellaronda Ski Area. In the town itself you will find everything you need in a small space: restaurants, pizzerias, grocery, souvenir shops, sports accessories, ski rentals, etc. On the ski slopes, apart from very good infrastructure, several dozen pleasant places to take breaks in intense sports.

The village has an excellent location for exploring Val di...

The village has an excellent location for exploring Val di Fassa. It has all the shops you need and the cabin lift takes you quickly to interesting hiking. The downside is that the main road is quite busy with a lot of traffic. This is the same for most of the villages in the valley however. One thing to keep in mind here however if you are a food lover is that you cannot expect so much classic "italian food". This area has Tyrolean food. It can be very good, but it is rather heavy and is frankly not my favourite. The restaurants are cosy and with excellent service though.

Hotel location is excellent. Ski bus stop was at the front of the hotel. Hotel staff was very friendly! There was also an excellent restaurant in the neighboring house.
