The B&B is in a magical location, we have never before felt so remote yet comfortable - it is very rare to sleep next to waterfalls, which made the stay feel very special and romantic. My partner and I were staying for our anniversary, and Gianluca (the host) was exceptionally friendly and attentive to all of our needs. The room has all the facilities one could desire, and the breakfast had excellent options - it was particularly nice to be able to choose what we wanted to eat/drink and dine outside. Whilst I had initially chosen the booking for its outstanding location, I would certainly go back equally for Gianluca's hospitality. We had a slight moment of panic when my partner left some of her belongings by mistake in a bedroom drawer, but Gianluca immediately informed us and arranged for the belongings to be delivered to us, which was an extra level of thoughtfulness and honesty that exceeded expectations. We will certainly be visiting Candalla again, as the whole experience was memorable.

We were walking the Via Francigena and this B&B is on the route. Caterina, the host, is a lovely, friendly, helpful lady. It was no problem to her to let us arrive early. The property is on top of a hill, with superb views over the valley. The room was spacious, and the bed very comfortable. Our room had magnificent views also. Breakfast, which was served out on the balcony, again with that awesome view of the valley, was exceptional. There was everything you might want, from cereal, to sweet and savoury, and even included eggs, which we love. And the nicest thing of all? We had full use of the swimming pool and sun loungers for the whole afternoon, again with that amazing view! An exceptional place under every heading!

the beautiful place, fully equipped apartment, the best location, it was very easy to get there by car. Metro and bus station in a few steps, it takes 10-15 minutes to get city center. There are many good restaurants in a few steps, very nice district, enough free parking places on the street

This was a last-minute booking as we were looking for a 3-bedroom apartment close to the beach - and we found this hidden treasure! The layout is absolutely perfect, with three separate bedrooms and two bathrooms (one of them en-suite), making it ideal for families or groups. The beach is just a short 7-minute walk away, and there’s a supermarket nearby as well, which was super convenient. We had a few questions about the apartment, as some things weren’t immediately obvious to us, but the host responded very quickly and was extremely helpful.

Absolutely stunning location, well worth the extra effort up a narrow winding road for that view! Casa Berti is clearly well loved and cared for. It was incredibly well equipped, tons of kitchen equipment, very comfy bed, lovely interior and the outdoor shower tops it all off beautifully!

The beaches and the esplanade are tremendous, The food is fantastic. The people were welcoming, and did not judge us on our poor Italian language skills. The area is very cycling friendly , and easy to hire bikes if needed.

Camaiore is a lovely little town.

Camaiore is a lovely little town. Some really good restaurants, great food. The people are very friendly and helpful. The scenery is typical tuscanny... amazing. Beaches (Lido de Camaiore and Viareggio) are easily reached. Pisa and Livorno are also easily reached if you want big towns but also the countryside is all around. Simply a wonderful location and stunning destination. Highly recommended.

I was lucky enough to spend one night at Villa La Bianca in...

I was lucky enough to spend one night at Villa La Bianca in May 2022. My VW’s GPS was inaccurate but when I telephoned the Villa, Julia guided me right to their gates just up the road a piece. I was road weary, and Julia helped me navigate with luggage from parking lot to room with patience, charm, and a golf cart. The Villa was quiet and they had upgraded me to a beautiful suite with a working fireplace and library. The Villa La Bianca compendium was thorough, and told a very interesting story of its history. The room itself was gorgeous and comfortable. The restaurant was superb. Chef was accommodating when I requested fish on what was meat night. Indoor dining was in beautiful surrounds with great lighting. In the morning when I was scheduled to leave for Pisa, Julia seeing how exhausted I was convinced me to stay and take advantage of the pool. This was some of the best advice I have ever taken. The pool is set amongst immaculately manicured and flowering grounds next to chef’s herb garden. I didn't see much of Camaiore proper, but what I did see driving through of the village was charming, and the vistas seen from Villa La Bianca were breathtaking and compelling. I hope very much to return to Villa La Bianca.

This accommodation was beautiful and had everything you needed and more. The host Valentina was lovely and so helpful, with local knowledge of where to eat, where to park etc. The apartment was well equipped and had distant views over the Mediterranean Sea one side and mountains the other side. It was set up in the mountains, so a few hairpin bends to drive up to it. Free on site parking with the use of a garage to park the car in. Just a short 20 to 30 minute drive to Lucca or Pisa.

This place is very unique. For very cheap price you get to stay close to the beach up on the hill. At night the village turn into a lively place which cute restaurant and caffès. The accommodation itself is very quiet and the mates on the room where mostly hikers. The simplicity of this place is very spiritual. I enjoyed it and would like to return for some hikes again.

Well equiped and comfortable apartment after renovation, very clean. Located in quiet area. Perfect place for family, in walking distance to beautiful old part of Camaiore. Amazing place for relax! Giorgio and Giulio were very helpful, thanks guys :) We are looking forward to coming back in the future.
