We stayed with our dog at this wonderful farmhouse for 5 days. It's the perfect location, close to the highway, to explore the historic cities of Umbrië such as Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio and a lot more. Also the lake of Trasimeno was easily to reach. it's a beautiful located farmhouse, on the top of a hill and in the middle of the nature with a great view on the country. The accommodation itself is absolutely perfect, with great rooms and a unique breakfast- and dining-room. We enjoyed a room with a kitchen, a living room and a separate bed- and bathroom. Everything we needed was available. The farmhouse is very dog friendly, as the owner has to very sweet dogs himself. The Agriturismo is run by Andrea and his mother Rose, two extremely sweet, friendly and helpful people, always prepared to give you advise on anything you need. They have their own small restaurant, mainly for the overnight guests. The food (produced from their own land) is just fabulous. Rose is a wonderful cook and clearly prepared the diners with lots of love. We couldn't ask for anything more and will definitely come back here. We're very grateful to Andrea and Rose and wish them very well.

I really liked the hotel, the restaurant service and...

I really liked the hotel, the restaurant service and breakfast were excellent, the parking was excellent, the view of the countryside was beautiful, the hotel was quiet and peaceful. I didn't like the mattress on the bed, the bathroom lock was broken (room 212), the room was poorly lit, and two kittens were running around the hotel restaurant undisturbed. Considering the setting, I don't think they had anything to do with it.

It's truly enchanting to stay in a castle and imagine...

It's truly enchanting to stay in a castle and imagine yourself in another era. The stay was fabulous, relaxing and filled with good food. The staff was polite and professional. Very clean. I recommend spending time in the spa and being pampered by the masseuse. Excellent value for money.

The Castle is really beautiful and the location very quite. The whole hotel was very clean. Very good breakfast with scrambled eggs and regional cheese and ham… The housekeeping and the service at breakfast were also very good. The food in the restaurant was tasty - it would be nice to make the room a bit more comfortable with some candles and heat, because the impression as also the temperature were in october a bit cold.

The view is very beautiful and the location is very good. We liked the working people and the founding philosophy of the hotel. breakfast was very good. There is a ramp that goes up the mountain close to the hotel.

Some street lights and more boards added on the roads to reach the hotel will make a good guide way to the hotel... i unfortuantely came late night around 11PM and i felt like lost due to darkness

Magical Place with a great restaurant and friendly staff. The hotel is located 15 min away from Gubbio and 30 min away from Perugia. We were lucky enough to get a nice room with a lot of space.
