Casa Terzerie is absolutely fantastic - a beautiful and lovely place. The historic building is completely secluded and is the perfect place to relax. The property is fantastically beautiful and by far one of the most beautiful places in Italy. The pool is huge and the room is large and clean. The breakfast with local products on the terrace is excellent. Francesca is a perfect host, friendly, with a big heart and has lot of good tips for the area. Thank you for everything - we will come back soon.

Stayed here the first night on the Tuscany Trail. Quintessentially and authentically Tuscan ! Alessandro was a superb host ! From restaurant recommendations, loaning us his car so we didn’t have to walk back for dinner to driving us to Grosetto for emergency bike repairs - over and above ! Accommodation is simple, clean and extremely comfortable. 1000% recommend for a great experience and an exceptional host - grazie Alessandro !

We stayed here for two nights. The checking-in process was fast as it worked online before our arrival. By the time we arrived, the lobby staff had already left, but we received all the necessary information via a WhatsApp message, and the key was left in the lobby. Our room was spotless, charming and stylish, and had a fantastic land view. The beds and the pillows were really comfortable. The pool and its area were also OK. Parking was included in the price, and upon arrival, we also received a remote control for the car park gate. The breakfast satisfied all of our needs in variety and quality and was served by a lovely old but very fit lady called Monica. We met every morning and got into a conversation very quickly. Monica warmly welcomed us and kept her eyes on what to bring and how to pamper our needs or favour while smiling and singing quietly. The pies served were her homemade pies and were really very delicious. She introduced the view we had from the breakfast area. She also talked about herself and how she sees the world, her art pieces exhibited in the breakfast area. Monica is definitely the heart of the place, and we felt she was like our lovely grandmother. At first, we supposed that Vetulonia was a tiny place, even smaller than a village, just some houses, and there was nothing to do there at all. But we found a community here. There is a pub in the village centre where all the local people come together, talk and have fun in the evenings on the main street; in the village, there is a restaurant, a museum and churches, as well. There are even festivals in the village. This place is the island of tranquillity, and if you are curious about the real life of rural Italian people, just come here and look.

Perfect and calm place to stay with family or couple. Cozy and clean rooms. Very friendly staff. Possible to have good breakfast. Close to Grosseto. Also, easy to reach sea and different beaches around Grosseto area by car. Place has beautiful big fields around, nice surrounding area with olive trees and grass, possible to see different animals (horses, cows, and other).

I would have liked this more during summer. However, we went in off season. Lack of upselling from staff or overview or things to do at the resort or even in the local area. It was 30 euros per person to use the spa for 1.5hours. No wine tours available. Nothing was open nearby so had to eat at the hotel. The hotel restaurant was amazing though.

the staff were amazing and the grounds of the hotel were stunning, it had beautiful vineyards which we had dinner in one night! the pool was great and breakfast was really good, lots of options. we were upgraded to a suite and had 360 degree views around the property of the tuscan countryside! couldn’t fault our stay at all

Absolutely stunning property, really well maintained and clean. Perfect location for attending a wedding at a local hotel. Only 2 hours by car from Rome FCO airport.
