The old farmer building was renovated with a lot of love for details. The owner family was extremly kind and helpful. They gave us a lot of interesting information about the region and its history. Absolutely fabulous place especially if you like historic artefacts, and amazing decor. I personally liked the location as it was not far from the archeological site we visited . It was a very quaint and quiet town . The breakfast that was served was exceptional and plentiful . Our hosts even lit a fire in the fireplace just for us as breakfast was served .

We loved everything! A family home with so much charm. Its in a beautiful small Sardinian village close to historic and natural sites. The room was very spacious with a very very comfy bed. We had the bathroom and balcony all to ourselves. Susanna (the host) was so lovely. She treated us to an amazing breakfast, and gave us handy recommendations of local restaurants and attractions. Unfortunately we only spent one night, could have definitely stayed longer.

Santa Cristina Sacred Well is AMAZING!!!

Santa Cristina Sacred Well is AMAZING!!! It is about half way between Bosa and Barumini, where Su Nuraxe is (the only Unesco World Heritage Site on Sardinia). As the Nuraghes were being abandoned (WHY???) the culture turned to worship of water. This well (spring) is from about 1000 BC and incredible construction and design, and in almost perfect condition. Definitely worth World Heritage status in our humble opinion. And even if you've seen lots of Nuraghes already, Su Nuraxe is worthwhile, because iit was so complex, so complete, and you go with an English speaking guide. Imagine how easy it would be to defend in it's later construction! Contemplate why the north tower is so cold! So why did they abandon it? Town is little but cute. Museums OK. Dinner very good (Sa Lolly). We also went about 20-30 minutes up a huge hiill to Parco della Giarda, where the only wild horses in Europe are. No ticket needed, gorgeous hike. Saw wild horses including Mom and baby in shallow lake eating grass, several other horses who disappeared like ghosts, but also dueling dung beetles, goats wearing bells, incredible wildflowers and bark stripped but healthy Cork Oak trees. Memorable hike! Great place to visit!!!

The room was spacious, super clean and with a beautiful view on a beautiful garden. The hostess, Mrs Marinella was super kind and friendly and she prepared a rich breakfast for me that was consisting of fresh ingredients from hee garden! Homemade marmelades and apple pie, plus high quality cheese and fresh fruits from the garden and many other delicacies! This lady must give semimars to other Sardinian hoteliers on how to host guests and how to be perfect and professional!

No passing hotel trend has touched this place, a family owned and run hotel and restaurant with loads of character, a lifetime's collection of artefacts and art on the walls, great cooking at dinner and a decent breakfast. Comfortable bed, well furnished room, good shower, quiet setting with a big garden. A bit like staying with a distant relative.
