This is the place to stay at, if you are visiting the northern Sicilian coast around Palermo and you want to stay away from the crowded streets of the big city. We stayed here in July and it was an amazing experience. The host was very friendly, accommodating to our every need and gave us quite a few inside tips on what to do/what to see along the coast line. The apartment was clean, comfortable and only a 3-5 minute walk away from the beach and the town centre. The breakfast is also amazing, with different Sicilian pastries available every day. Want to rent a car or do a catamaran tour? The host has got you covered. We had a great time and would for sure visit again! 10/10 would recommend!

We had a really pleasant stay! The host Nicolò was very responsive and attentive to all our needs, and made sure we had all the information we needed for a smooth and enjoyable experience. Amazing 1st floor apartment with mesmerizing seaview from the balcony and living room. Ms Piera and Mr Giovanni responded always prompt to our emails, what's app and were very nice offering us welcoming fruits and traditional foods. They gave us baby chair and cot free of charge. We checked-in and checked-out late without any additional cost and received airport transfer for a convenient fee.

Luca was the best host imaginable. We arrived late and exhausted after driving up from Ragusa, too tired to go out and get dinner. Luca brought us the best local pizza and some of his family's excellent wine. He even packed us breakfast for the early departure the next morning at the airport. If you are flying from Palermo this place is perfect.

We had an excellent stay at the b&b. Paola and Guiseppe were very gracious and attentive hosts, although their English was not the best we had a very easy communication with them, they were very responsive. The breakfast was very good every morning we had a choice of bread, croissants, eggs, different cheeses, ham, marmelades, fruit, yoghurt... The room was very spacious and clean as was the bathroom. The location in the centre of Balestrate meant lots of good restaurants and some supermarkets at walking distance. The Balestrate Beach was a 20 minute walk, there were plenty of other beautiful beaches reachable by car as well. There is free parking in the nearby streets, we never had to park far. We spent an excellent week here would recommend.

Balestrate is a lively small Sicilian town 30 drive from Palermo airport (Pmo). It is a good starting point for exploring Palermo and west parts of Sicily. The beach seemed a bit abundant but we were there out of tourist season. Rental car is essential as there is so much to explore, from beautiful beaches with crystal clear waters to traditional Sicilian villages and hiking opportunities.

Nice, rather calm town.

Nice, rather calm town. Typical colorful houses, narrow streets, swuare with historic church. They have at least few restaurants with typical, fine cuisine (try disiu pizza - perfect pizza; siculish - artisanal sicilian cuisine; cia vuru ri tradizioni - suprising restaurant with great atmosphere, food and interior). Beach is broad and accessible for swimmimg, a bit not clean (some plastic bottles, etc.), but maybe during the peak season they clean it better (I hope). We had great time, proces are affordable (cafe/restaurant). You may easily reach the town from Punta Raisi by public transport or use private transfer (public transport for 4 person is ca. €30 / private transport €35 booked in Balestrate Jumbo car rental).

The grounds are beautiful. Location is perfect - 5 minutes away from Balestrate centre, with all major sights/towns can be reached in less than 1 hour by car. Staff were helpful. Super comfy bed!
