Probably the best hotel we've stayed in our eurotrip on 9 different hotels. Room is very cozy, mixes very well a roustic/wooden with a more modern style. The view to Bagnoregio was absolutely AMAZING. I was always shocked to look at the balcony and see that was our view. The same family that owns the accommodation has a beauty shop inside the Civita, with great products.

Great location. We spent one night in this jewel. Very helpful owner Patrizia, who was available over questions including parking (free nearby, a short walk away and met by Sara who showed us the way), even helped us to reserve excellent local restaurants. Coffee machine & capsules are appreciated, as well as the herbal teas. Strong recommendation.

A very beautiful Italian mountain town.

A very beautiful Italian mountain town. Hard to get to without a car. Buses do not run on Sundays. Taxis are also hard to come by and cost 50 euros each way from Orvieto. That's if you can find one to take you. It was challenging in that way but I'm glad I went!

The old town (Civita) is an amazing place. A living museum.

The old town (Civita) is an amazing place. A living museum. A bit difficult to access, especially in n a hot day, if you’re not young and fit. But it is worth the trouble. The village of Bagnoregio is a quaint place typical of Umbria with 2-3 nice restaurants and old cobbled streets.

Civita di Bagnoregio is unique and charming, but very small.

Civita di Bagnoregio is unique and charming, but very small. Staying a night is fun but there is not much to do so 2 nights was perhaps too much. Bagnoregio does have a nice church, it is not exceptional. Pack light as the walk involved some cheeky up and downhill walking.

A quiet and magical medieval town on top of a hill. To reach the top of the hill, one has to walk around 1 km of a foot bridge. The view of the town and the view from the town are spectacular especially during sunset and sunrise. Towns folk are very friendly. Food is great although a little pricey. Try Cantina di Ariana. The waiter there was very nice. Their food was very good especially the hand-cut ham and the steak that is cooked in front of you by the fire place. Can’t wait to go back there.

Civita di Bagnoregio is definitely worth seeing.

Civita di Bagnoregio is definitely worth seeing. The city has about 12 inhabitants as it is crumbling off of the hillside. It is reachable by walking across a bridge that involves a fairly steep incline at the end. We didn't eat there, but there are many restaurants.

Civita did Bagnoregio is a must see and do when in Umbria /...

Civita did Bagnoregio is a must see and do when in Umbria / Tuscany area. It is fascinating. It is very much a day-trip tourist location, so staying the night within the Civita gives you a whole new perspective. It becomes very quiet, you feel like you have the town to yourself. A caution though, everything closes by about 7pm (19.00), including the restaurants.

I have been wanting to stay in Civita Di Bagnoregio since I first stayed there a few years ago. The town is magical. The location of L'Incanto is one of the most beautiful spots in the town. The apartment was BEAUTIFUL. I would recommend it for a small family (there is a cute single pull out in addition to the larger bed). It is well kept up and clean. Chiara was an amazing host, making sure that we were all set with everything.

Very hospitable. You get a lot of information for the surrounding area and restaurants. Clean rooms and nice imaginative decor. Clean pool, even if a little cool was for us. Super location and bright. 8 min to Civita di Bagnoregio. Ideal for a stopover or several days for Tuscan travel.
