Our favourite accommodation for our Italy trip. Room was large, well-furnished, clean, spacious, and had a breathtaking view of the castle. Staff were also very generous and kind people who offered to drive us to the accommodation from the bus stop as we had large suitcases. They also gave us a tour and shared with us the highlights of the area, which was much appreciated and we are thankful for their time and for the lovely accommodation! Breakfast was delicious as well.

Great apartment, super clean with all the comfort, including toiletries and great choice for breakfast. Mattress was excellent for a good night sleep. The hosts were extremely nice and always available. Definitely recommend this place!

A very beautiful Italian mountain town.

A very beautiful Italian mountain town. Hard to get to without a car. Buses do not run on Sundays. Taxis are also hard to come by and cost 50 euros each way from Orvieto. That's if you can find one to take you. It was challenging in that way but I'm glad I went!

The old town (Civita) is an amazing place. A living museum.

The old town (Civita) is an amazing place. A living museum. A bit difficult to access, especially in n a hot day, if you’re not young and fit. But it is worth the trouble. The village of Bagnoregio is a quaint place typical of Umbria with 2-3 nice restaurants and old cobbled streets.

Civita di Bagnoregio is unique and charming, but very small.

Civita di Bagnoregio is unique and charming, but very small. Staying a night is fun but there is not much to do so 2 nights was perhaps too much. Bagnoregio does have a nice church, it is not exceptional. Pack light as the walk involved some cheeky up and downhill walking.

A quiet and magical medieval town on top of a hill. To reach the top of the hill, one has to walk around 1 km of a foot bridge. The view of the town and the view from the town are spectacular especially during sunset and sunrise. Towns folk are very friendly. Food is great although a little pricey. Try Cantina di Ariana. The waiter there was very nice. Their food was very good especially the hand-cut ham and the steak that is cooked in front of you by the fire place. Can’t wait to go back there.

Civita di Bagnoregio is definitely worth seeing.

Civita di Bagnoregio is definitely worth seeing. The city has about 12 inhabitants as it is crumbling off of the hillside. It is reachable by walking across a bridge that involves a fairly steep incline at the end. We didn't eat there, but there are many restaurants.

Civita did Bagnoregio is a must see and do when in Umbria /...

Civita did Bagnoregio is a must see and do when in Umbria / Tuscany area. It is fascinating. It is very much a day-trip tourist location, so staying the night within the Civita gives you a whole new perspective. It becomes very quiet, you feel like you have the town to yourself. A caution though, everything closes by about 7pm (19.00), including the restaurants.

Location location location!!! Sunrise through the window on the 3rd floor terrace was stunning. The room was super comfortable and very quiet as well. Easy access to the main town, and easy walk to Civita di Bagnoregio as well which is a must. The coffee shop nearby - Bona Ventura Caffetteria Italiana became our local morning cappuccino and Cornetto spot, just yum. Lots of restaurants as suggested by our host too. Parking was easy as well, with the car being a couple of hundred meters down the road.

Anna was wonderful, she came to greet us despite a terrible thunderstorm! She was helpful with explaining how to get to the local attraction (Civita di Bagnoregio). The bed was comfortable and the facilites were good. She also gave us a parking permit for free parking nearby. Breakfast was included, packaged croissants and french toast, yoghurt, cereal and coffee from a proper coffee machine.

Very nice place to stay with your family or as a couple. Beds were comfortable. You will have to park your car in Bagnoregio and then walk all the way to the top in Civita. So, for check in, I would definitely recommend to pack light and leave most of your stuff in the car.
