Wonderful experience!!! The family is so lovely, they want you to have the best time and we did :). The view is amazing, they have some lovely animals (that won’t bother you if you’re not into that), and were very welcoming to our dog. The pool area is STUNNING and very relaxing, and they have created countless little nice areas around the pool and in the garden where you can sit and have a drink, play a game etc. They also offer breakfast lunch and light dinner. We planned to stay for 1 night but booked an extra night because of the peaceful atmosphere and the hospitality of the family. 10/10 recommend.

Nicolina and her husband were kind, welcoming, attentive and generous; they provided some extra food suppllies after a long drive, and they also sorted a minor lightbulb problem without any delay. The house was beautiful, well equipped, spacious and comfortable, with magnificent views over the rolling hills. Superb.

We had an excellent stay at the Hotel Castegneto. The suite we stayed in was spacious, elegantly furnished and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and professional. Everything. Lovely old building, renovated interior. The shower was fantastic, lovely box of soap and other bits and pieces in the bathroom. it was very clean. Beautiful view of the town up to the castle.
