wonderful cozy apartment in the heart of the old city. which we really like for the atmosphere, delicious restaurants and kind people. the apartment is very clean, has everything you need, easy access (keys in a special box with a code). Very close to all our favorite spots. Parking 50-100 meters for 1 euro per hour. We are very grateful to the owner for a wonderful place to relax.

We had a great time in these apartments! They are fully consistent with the description, but no words can convey the atmosphere of unity with nature that you can experience while living there. Every day we were surrounded by the sounds of cicadas, the singing of birds and the chirping of grasshoppers. It was a great opportunity to watch the stars in the evening and at night while sitting by the fire! Special thanks to Mario and Julia for their hospitality! They are very polite and caring hosts! We remember them with love and gratitude! Sincere recommendations! We will definitely recommend this place to our friends! 10+!

It's a spacious apartment, exceptionally clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and thoughtful welcome gifts in both the kitchen and the bathroom. The secured parking space was an additional plus. Having two bathrooms for us (two couples) made the stay even more comfortable. The peaceful surroundings allowed us to fully relax, and the host was very kind and gave us an excellent recommendation for a local restaurant. We would gladly come back!

The lake and views are fabulous.

The lake and views are fabulous. The village is unspoiled by excessive tourism and many of the restaurants seem to be mostly visited by Italians. The transport infrastructure is poor. Public transport is difficult to navigate and the bus and train schedules are unclear and confusing. There’s nit a lot ti see apart from the lake. The Sunday ferry was cancelled and there is no other way to travel on the lake.

Anguillara is a very beautiful place and a welcome respite from the “madness” in Rome. I would highly recommend the boat trip around the lake that only operates in summer. Great value for 5 euros. We didn’t have a car and at times it was difficult to find out accurate times for the buses and the boat across the lake. The tourist information booth was open only in the afternoons.

Beautiful old town right on the lake, next to a resort on the lake popular with locals and foreigners alike. Lots of bars and choices of cuisine. Stunning views. Lake swimming and other activities (wind sail boats, kite surfing, wind surfing). Having your own transport would make exploring the wider region easier although train and shuttle bus links through to Rome are easy.

You can do everything on foot without having to take the car...

You can do everything on foot without having to take the car. Unfortunately, in Anguillara, all parking spaces are blue. The best part for swimming is the valley vineyard. The best restaurants are Lo Sfizio and Toto Pescheria.

Beautiful, it's improved dramatically in recent years. The lakeside promenade has been beautifully renovated, the central square is lovely, and the restaurants are lovely. As usual, the water is crystal-clear and the food is excellent. Anguillara and its surrounding area are definitely worth a visit. I personally recommend a tour of the ancient Canale Monterano, where Il Marchese del Grillo was filmed (very evocative).

If you're traveling with kids in the summer, I recommend the Il Delfino beach club in Vigna di Valle, 10 minutes from the B&B del Lago. Equipped with inflatables in the water, it ensures fun for kids and relaxation for parents. Another highly recommended spot is the Da Lalla restaurant... I really can't find the right words to describe the deliciousness of the dishes and the friendliness of the staff.

Exceptional house with a nice little pool. We felt very welcome by the hostess who was very helpful and inviting. We were there in July and the A/C worked perfectly when it was too hot to sleep. Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean and well kept. This house is perfect for a relaxing family vacation. It is located in a quiet and secluded area but only a very short walk (5-10 minutes) from the small village where it’s possible to find a lot of nice restaurants.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The location, the views, the spacious interior of the apartment - it was all perfect. The views from this property are even better in person, we would venture to say they're some of the most beautiful scenery we've been surrounded by on a holiday. The host (Barbara) was also very helpful and friendly - she went out of her way to ensure we had a great time. We'd recommend this place wholeheartedly and will stay if visiting Anguillara again.

Both breakfast locations were fantastic. Location close to the lake made it easy to take a walk along the shore or take a swim in the lake. Federico’s restaurant was fabulous. Federico also went out of his way and brought a fan to our room in order to stay a bit cooler in the hot weather.
