we stayed at this hotel suites for 3 night ,the rooms was very clean and tidy , we stayed on a city room which was up some 3 flights of steps to get to from the front door to the building and one flight of steps from the pavement below , no good for anyone who has a walking disability, we was given the wrong key so when returned from dinner could not get in to the room also , after ring reception as no one was on site , they let us in the room remoatly , [1st night ] then we got moved to room 1 of the other part of the hotel looking over the sea this room was on the side of the hotel and there was a bar underneath the hotel but on the other side of the road , and was open to 2am plus in the morning very noisy could not sleep and then the dustmen empty the bins around 4-30am more noise, the main door into the hotel is on a main road and you take your life in your hands, as there is no pavement but all in all ok ,and great located the rooms was big and shower very nice and big, our host was also very helpful

Amalfi was beautiful but transfer system was awful and disappointing. I really recommend to go there by ferry, because the bus transfer is crazy and with long delay. The app for purchase of bus ticket was not working well and was ambiguous. Specially during the night, nobody was there for helping.

We travelled to Amalfi as a group of two friends and whilst Amalfi is lovely, it is a very sleepy town so there isn't much going on in the evenings. Perfect for couples/families but I'd recommend Positano for groups of friends!

Visiting Amalfi in the off-season was a good choice.
Visiting Amalfi in the off-season was a good choice. It felt like a normal town where you could see people work, go to school, shop for groceries and chat with neighbours. The tourist sites were open, parking was easy and we had the beautiful spots all to ourselves - the gardens of the Villla Rufulo in Ravello, the Sentiero degli Dei between Agerola and Nocelle, the black sand beaches, and plenty of restaurants are open.
Superb views, huge 2 bedroom apartment with reasonably easy access via a staircase about 30 steps down the main road. Check in : personally greeted by a man on a motorcycle, polite to a fault. Washing machine was a blessing in July. Private carpark provided but we did not use the car much. 15 mins walk down to Amalfi port, from where we sailed to Positano, Capri, etc. Amalfi is much less busy and touristy than the other coastal towns.
Amazing and friendly people: all Receptionists, porter, drivers (we had transfer from hotel to Amalfi city every hour), waitresses, housekeeping ladies, chiefs:-) Wonderful location- breathtaking views for Amalfi coast! Everything from the welcoming us to our check-out was incredibly fantastic! Meals were so tasty- from the breakfast to dinner! I will definitely come back here! I will also recommend that place to my friends and family.
We were greeted by smiley and friendly staff. They have been very helpful to accommodate all our needs with efficiency and always with the smile. The road to the hotel is scary for a first time comer to Amalfi and we preferred to use the free shuttle of the hotel. The rooms are all looking to the sea and the view is breathtaking. The rooms are spacey and very clean. Great hotel for your Amalfi coast holidays.
The room was perfect and situated right in the square. we had the view of the Amalfi duomo and was 5 mins from the pier where you can take the ferry or a bus to Salerno, Sorrento, Positano, etc.
Andrea was super helpful and the staff was AMAZING. Carmen arranged a driver for us from the hotel to Naples Airport. We are definitely coming back and making Amalfi our go-to for summer vacays from now on.
The house and the views were amazing! We stayed 3 nights to explore the Amalfi coast by bus and this was a great base. It's 3 Km from Amalfi city center but there is a bus that takes you to amalfi city center, the bus stop is just 30 meters from the house.
If you want to visit Positano you can walk 15 mins to bus stop without going to Amalfi. The host was really nice and helpfull.
This place is away from the city crowd. You can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Amalfi coast from the hotel garden. The hosts are the kindest people I have ever seen. They were helping us and taking great care of us during our whole stay!
Delicious breakfast and coffee were in order every morning. The cleaning service was also great!
I strongly recommend :)
Maurizio and his sister run this property extremely well. They are the embodiment of the Amalfi coast. Hospitality, welcoming and helpful every step of the way. The hotel is high up, it’s a lot of steps but they meet you and carry your bags. The room and hotel was incredibly quaint with amazing views. It was an amazing experience and we are so thankful!!!
Everything was superb. The view from our balcony was amazing, you need to go through some stairs but that is what Amalfi coast is about. Spotless room and toilet and you have room service every day, smells nice. Home made lemonade, delicious breakfast at the room. Just the best hotel we've stayed so far. Grazie Lina and Enzo ! We'll be back some day
The staff was very prepared. The hotel has a list of activities for each day of the week, to do around the Amalfi coast. We enjoyed very much the Amalfi City Tour with the guide Michelangelo. We discovered a new and more meaningful dimension of the entire Amalfi Coast. Hotel is easy to reach from Amalfi City Center, either by foot or local buss.
The rooms were all well curated, spacious, new with great views. The breakfast delivered to your room every morning is amazing. It’s a small boutique hotel with only 5 rooms but everything very well done and the staff always super attentive and caring. Very close walk distance to Amalfi. I would definitely stay here again.
The location was well located to take day trips to Minori, Amalfi, Positano, and also close to some
lovely beaches. The staff was amazingly helpful, answering questions daily to ensure we had the best experience possible on the Amalfi Coast. Also plenty of free street parking close to the hotel even during peak season.
Everything about this hotel was awesome. Excellent location near the transport hub of the Amalfi coast (car, bus, or boat). Across the street from the beach and directly next door to the famous church and piazza. Room was spectacular and spacious (steam shower with cool lights, yes please). Restaurant was phenomenal.
What an amazing place to stay. Such a gorgeous view of the Amalfi coastline! The room was beautifully clean and the breakfast was exceptional. We had a fantastic stay, and Cristiana was a brilliant host. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable, and we’re so grateful!
Casa Gargano Luigi apartment was absolutely fabulous, best location on the Amalfi Coast!! It was a home away from home and host Olimpia was very helpful. I must also make special mention of Maria who could not do enough to make our stay so comfortable. Thank you Olimpia and Maria.
The view over the Amalfi coast is epic from the balcony of this hotel. Staff were amazing, a lady even helped us to lift our luggage up the stairs. And on the following morning, another set of beautiful staff attended to us. Oh! I almost forgot the complimentary Cappuccino.
Perfect place! Stunning view!!!!(Room 10)
Definitely I will come back there!
Good value for money.
Very helpful and friendly stuff.
Amazing breakfast! The best in the whole amalfi coast during our stay!
ACTUALLY, I WOULD NOT CHNAGE ANYTHING! JUST PERFECT 10/10!
We’re return visitors to Hotel Aurora, and we love it so much. It’s a 5 minute walk from the main part of town but when you walk along the flat coast it’s just beautiful. Wonderful rooms, fabulous staff, the breakfast here is so amazing!
Absolutely beautiful property with gorgeous views of the Amalfi Coast! Loved the balcony suite! Room was so clean and the bed was very comfortable!! Also breakfast under the lemon trees was fabulous!
