A really fantastic stay for my wife, 5 year old, & I. Location is central. Accommodation is homely. We were very comfortable. Rachel is a great host. We had a very early departure the next day. I really wasn't expecting anything but Rachel even made us breakfast and coffee for our 5am departure. Thank-you for a lovely stay. I would definitely come back.

Very clean, much more space than in a hotel room. Breakfast was plenty and the coffee was very nice bar was about 6min walk from the flat. The central of (historical) Altamura is beautiful only 8min walk from the flat. We’ve loved our stay.

Exceptional place to stay and highly recommend..Angelo was extremely helpful and picked me up from Bari Centrale making my arrival at the B&B seamless. The location of the apartment was 2 minutes from the main cathedral and square. Angelo made sure that I knew what festivals were on during my stay and where to visit. Such a lovely accomodation, fixed with a lot of style, absolute favourite of the vacation. Perfect communication with the host, easy self check-in, easy self check out. The hospitality throughout made it a luxorious stay. All clean, plenty of space, comfortable beds (giving support during sleep). Excellent location, in the old town (a recommendation on its own!). We enjoyed our short stay a lot and will come back, for sure!

We love Altamura and its people. My grandparents came from here and it feels like home. The culture and rhythm of this city truly reflects Italian Life! It is not overpopulated with tourists. Definitely worth coming to if you want to feel relaxed and be a part of Italian life!

Beautiful old town with typical cafes in the cathedral...

Beautiful old town with typical cafes in the cathedral square and lots of verdant courtyards and narrow alleys all built of shining white limestone. Excellent museum very close to the old town with an exceptional anthropological section. Most places were a short walk from our accomodation including an excellent restaurant. Driving was a nightmare because of the manic one-way systems and flashing orange traffic lights.

Altamura is place full of life.

Altamura is place full of life. Every evening people of all ages are out enjoying a stroll or an aperitivo. It is very lively, suitable for families travelling with older teenagers who are usually bored in the evenings. Food is amazing. It is also very conveniently placed between Bari (beautiful bigger city with an old town, beautiful promenade and lots of shops ) and Matera , the so-called stone city, the oldest city in Italy, a must-see.

Very quaint city.

Very quaint city. Took tour of Caseificio Di Cecco and Panifico Di Gesu and loved it very much.Had supper at Baby Di Cecco for wine and cheese tasting at the Mercadente Forest- Yum! Old city is beautiful.Had lunch at oldest bakery- notice Forno Santa Caterina and it was great ! should visit!

Atamura was impressive for a small town of 75000 people to...

Atamura was impressive for a small town of 75000 people to the big city feel, I loved the restaurants and the bread and focaccia, the traditional food was out of this world no matter witch restaurant we went. I loved that there's people out until 2:00 am and felt safe walking around the city the people were friendly and helpful I would recomment and stay in Altamura again.

Beautiful town, lovely old cathedral and historic town...

Beautiful town, lovely old cathedral and historic town centre. Tourists tend to visit Matera that is 40 minutes away, and shops/bars/restaurants etc in Altamura shut from lunchtime for a few hours, so visits need to be planned when all is open. Lovely bakeries which sell regional breads/pastries. Public transport services seem good, but we hired a car. Very friendly locals.

Awesome space , luxurious styling in combination with medieval atmosphere . a nice big bed with comfortable matras. jacuzzi bath and television. high quality finishing and bathroom materials and all of this hidden behind two doors in the middle of the city. And last but not least the host Felice is a amiable man that came to find us when I shared my position while parking nearby. He is making sure you get the service you need. I can not praise this appartament enough. Every little detail has been thought of. This place is amazing, very spacious, well equipped. Complimentary teas and coffe, olive oil and spices. Shower gels and shampoos, even toothbrushes if you forget your own. Slippers. Good aircondition, only in bedrooms but strong enough for all place to feel pleasant.

This B&B is a family business and during our stay we had the pleasure to meet both Laura and Maria who were really helpful. Whatever questions we had, they tried to find an answer. Every morning we had fresh bread and pastry for breakfast. Special thanks to the mother who had made lovely orange cake :)
