Excellent location for a short visit to SW Iceland. Clean and comfortable and easy to access. Very quiet. Restaurants and supermarket a short walk away or Selfoss town 25 minutes drive for more options. The owners were easy to contact and helpful (there was a light out in the bathroom). The heath between the church and the sea is very rich in flowers for an evening stroll.

Cozy house, in a quiet place. Comfortable beds, kitchen had everything you need. Right next to the beach. We had a great time.

this is an amazing place - wild location and so many gorgeous icelandic ponies. The restaurant serves the best food that we had in our whole trip and was great value for money given just how pricey iceland is. take a pony ride if you can it is absolutley the best way to appreciate the amazing landscapes and the ponies are very very well behaved

It’s a perfect base for exploring the golden circle and the south coast. There is only 7 km to Hveragerdi and Selfoss, cities with a wide range of shops and restaurants.

Place was really clean and nicely set up. When we arrived staff upgraded our room free of charge. Even let us park the car right next to the enterance since we had to set it up for longer trip. Hot tubs were really nice touch and these were free of charge. Overall hotel was very clean and staff was very polite

The best hostel i have stayed in. Like I mean best ever, seriously. First of all, the bed was comfortable. The sheets were clean and they smelled very fresh. Spacious rooms with big windows and great curtains that make the room completely dark if you want it. The common area also very spaciuos, plenty of chairs and tables, have a lot of sockets to charge your phone or other devices. Very well equipped - there are two TVs, computer, dozens of board games. The same goes for the kitchen, it has everything you need, there are two microwave ovens, regular oven, two big fridges. The whole common area is decorated with beautiful pictures of Icelandic nature, it gives a place really nice vibe. On the top of all that, this hostel has the best bathrooms I’ve ever seen in a place like this. Each toilet and shower is in completely separated room with normal door, completely opposite to what I got used to in hostels.
