I have based my rating mainly on the staff and owner - who were exceptional. We had a flat tyre at the end of a very remote road, late at night, and had to abandon our vehicle. The staff and owner were super helpful and friendly - permitting use of a room and to store our luggage the following day whilst we resolved the problem. We are grateful for their kindness. We booked two rooms and both were comfortable. The ensuite room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Plenty of storage. Location very attractive.

The host of this property was very welcoming. Despite my limited number of hours at this hotel, the owner offered to make me a packed lunch. Was planning to check in around 7pm and check out around 11pm!

This hotel, opened in June 2013, is situated along the coast in Patreksfjordur, a fishing village in Iceland’s Westfjords. It offers an à la carte restaurant with a bar and daily breakfast buffet.

Beautifully renovated house with fantastic interior. The room was extremely cosy. Tea, coffee, milk and cornflakes were in place.

Highly recommended The apartment is very well organized, even for 4 people. Comfortable sofa bed and a nice curtain that separates it from the living room. High technology... large TV Oven and microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer, along with all necessary products for their use. Sea view and delightful location. We didn't miss anything at all during our one day stay. Breakfast was amazing and the staff made us extra waffels :-) Apartments were clean and cozy. We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend it.

This was the best guesthouse during my stay in Iceland, well located with wonderful views on the fjord from the windows of my room. Spottlessly clean, the staff was nice and the breakfast divine. Late check in was not an issue at all.
