The cottage lies in an amazing valley with very little light pollution (we could even see the aurora at night!), and the location is shared with other studios for guests and the owners with a very cute dog. The studio is small but essential and we particularly loved the atmosphere and the position of our stay, really far away from everything!

Free parking and is in a very quiet area near the river and in the middle of the mountains. It’s very beautiful in the morning when the mist is covering parts of the mountains. It’s natural. The location is not very far from Blonduos which restaurants and other amenities are.

Modern and smells like new. Close to the main road. The stunning view. The only one cottage in Iceland that had a good enough size for us. The rest were too small. Good coffee machine like at home.

The hotel has a good location close to the water and near a bird watching station. The hotel facilities are in line with the category. However, the rooms, corridors and restaurant are newly renovated and very stylish and pleasantly furnished. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend the hotel.
