Our room was quite large. The facilities were quite lovely and everything was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. Staff were quite friendly and helpful as well. The breakfast buffet had great selection. The views on the property are beautiful.

We booked for two nights and wished we could have stayed much longer. This place is a true gem! The host was very kind, professional and gave us plenty of local tips, wonderful! The cabin was incredibly cosy, surrounded by beautiful woods and incredible organic food from the farm. The location is perfectly situated to visit East Fjords of Iceland. We were on a road trip for our honeymoon and stayed across multiple accommodations, this was by far our favourite.

We had an absolutely great stay at this hotel! Everything exceeded my expectations, making our trip unforgettable. The room was perfect: beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and had a super charming atmosphere. It truly felt like a cozy retreat after a long day of exploring. Coupled with a perfect breakfast each morning, I was fully energized for my adventures. Finally, the reception was really helpful and professional throughout our stay. The most impressive service, however, was their genius idea to alert guests about the Northern Lights! Receiving a timely call about the visible aurora was a fantastic, unique touch that ensured we didn't miss the spectacular show. - Excellent staff! The girls were so nice with lots of recommandations about what to see and where to eat. They reminded us of the Hot Tub at the terrace which we enjoyed very much. They also suggested we go see the Puffin (on the road 94) which we did and we enjoyed a lot (there were thousands of Puffins really close) - The hotel room was big and clean with everything we need - The hotel itself is situated in the big forest, really close to the town Egilstadir.
