The guesthouse is away from the road and any city, so it would be a perfect location for watching aurora borealis. The rooms were cosy, warm and clean. The facilities had everything that we needed. The breakfast was delicious. They even offer lava bread and other homemade bread. A special treat were the waffles that you can prepare for yourself. All in all a realy pleasant stay.

This hotel is quietly situated 2 km from Lake Mývatn and 30 minutes’ drive from the Godafoss Waterfall and Krafla Crater. It offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with modern furnishings.

Where do I begin… Local breakfast, friendly staff, helped us with all the problems, great ice cream, the best dogs, great location, beautiful suroundings, big kitchen, cosy living room, good laundry service, I could go on for ever! Loved it!❤️ One of the highlights of our trip and we saw the northern lights!

We were very satisfied with the hotel. It had a beautiful design. Even the shower corner was tiled so well that no water leaked into the bathroom! The stunning views of the lake with grazing sheep complemented this beautiful hotel design. The staff was very friendly, and we especially appreciated the excellent chef – the food was truly delicious

A very good hotel with the brilliant set up, comfort, clearness and good service. Really like the open air hot bathes in the facilities. Bar/restaurant is very home like. We had a big window with a nice view to Icelandic nature. As a bonus northern lights come up the day we stayed

Beautiful log cabin, warm and cosy. Spacious room with big comfortable bed and luxurious linen. We had a great sleep. Very clean and modern. We liked that the shower and toilet were separate rooms. The kids liked the big TV! The restaurant food was delicious, the setting was amazing with magic views. The cows next door are a great novelty. Breakfast was brilliant.
