We booked for the apartment. The apartment is fully with kitchenware and everything, including oil, salt and other seasonings. If you plan to cook your own meal, judt grab some fresh foods. The room is wide and comfy. Even though, we were here in late Oct and the location is next to the lake, the apartment is warm comfy.

Amazing location just off the route 1. The property is ‘remote’ but that’s what makes Iceland so special. The kitchen area has everything you need to cook a dinner and having access to a coffee machine was brilliant.

We had to arrive very late to the hotel and the staff was very kind and made us everything very easy to alow us a very late entry with the kids.

Very nice guesthouse in the middle of nowhere. It is good if you are on your way from Akureyri to Reykjavik. There is hot water and tea all the time and there is a fridge where you can put your food. Breakfast was ok. I would recommend this place for one night stay.
