The lady doing the check-in and preparing the breakfast was super nice. The room was comfortable. everything was clean. Wifi was very good. The location was perfect since the next day we had an activity just 10 min away driving (Ice caves)

The guesthouse is situated in a fantastic location- 30 minutes away from the glacier lagoon, surrounded by beautiful mountains. It was also close to Höfn, where we had a nice dinner. The rooms were fine, not modern, but I think this was even better contributing to the cozy atmosphere. The breakfast was also nice, perfect for a start of long day on the road. Most important what we loved about the guesthouse was how nice everyone was! We were caught up in a snowstorm and couldn’t make it for our first night. They were so understanding! We even got a partial refund, although they didn’t really need to do it since it was not their fault we couldn’t make it. Overall we had a great stay in Brunnhóll.

It was very good! The staff were incredibly nice and the breakfast was delicious! It was our first time in Iceland and we miscalculated the distance because of the weather. The car was out of fuel when we got there and they helped us get some. Thank you very much for your help! So we could continue our journey in peace.
