We were very satisfied with the hotel. It had a beautiful design. Even the shower corner was tiled so well that no water leaked into the bathroom! The stunning views of the lake with grazing sheep complemented this beautiful hotel design. The staff was very friendly, and we especially appreciated the excellent chef – the food was truly delicious

Absolutely loved this place but due to our schedule we needed to leave early the next day so couldn't enjoy breakfast there. The restaurant was exceptional - the service, ambiance and food were a very high standard. With the added bonus of going into the Cowshed to meet the calves and cows! Plus we got to see the Aurora in this location just topped off a fabulous but too short stay! We will definitely be back to enjoy more of what the area has to offer.

Fantastic modern cabin, cosy, great location, fantastic breakfast, highly recommend. Loved the outlook onto the lava field, on the lake circuit and close to many attractions in the area.

Exceptional location with some of the best views we've had in Iceland. Very well-equipped apartment (dishwasher, new stove), nice patio. We didn't have any problems with the flies/mosquitos in the apartment, they tend to keep outside. Clarification: These are two separate accommodations which are next to each other: The studio apartment and the old house. I can only attest the quality of the studio apartment, which was superb.

A great place to stay with a gracious host and a beautiful lake view. It even had a washer for our clothes which was much needed on our 2 week long journey through Iceland.
