The description was exact but no words can describe the exquisite design nor the landscape. It is an experience like no other. My 18 year old daughter and I stayed in an artists cottage and from the moment we spotted the property, we knew it was special. The communication and directions were excellent so our arrival and check in were seemless. It is pricey, but it deserves to be.

The location was amazing, and the hot tub was great! We even saw northern lights. Staff was amazing in supplying extra coffepods and suggesting where to eat for dinner. Coming in January many restaurants are closed.

Impressive views of Troll Waterfalls and an extensive vinyl collection of over 3000 records are notable features of Fossatún Country Hotel.
