Fantastic little cabin, my kids favourite of all the places we stayed. Underfloor heating was excellent and the owners ploughed the snow each day so we could leave.

The property is beautiful, new and clean. Great location. We had a mix up with the location, Apple Maps took us close to hella which is an hour away. It turned out to be an issue more with Apple. I contacted the host within minutes he sent a pin with coordinates and also messaged a few times to make sure we got there safe. Really turned things around. Would recommend coordinates on the page.

I have driven through on numerous occasions but never...

I have driven through on numerous occasions but never stopped. I was pleasantly surprised by the place. Lovely view of the lake adequate local facilities close by and only a half hour drive to Geyser and Gullfoss.

Laugarvatn is in an excellent location between the national...

Laugarvatn is in an excellent location between the national park to the west, and Geysir and Gulfoss Waterfall to the east. It has a beautiful view of the lake and the surrounding hills, a few restaurants, gas, and plenty of lodging.

Great guesthouse in Laugarvatn, only a few minutes walking distance from the famous Fontana. Perfect for an overnight stop on the Golden Circle. Check-in was very simple (via code), parking directly in front of the guesthouse. We had a large room, very clean, spacious, and a very comfortable bed. Communication with our host was perfect, always available & quick to help. We were even able to see the Northern Lights not far from the guesthouse.

What an amazing find! Out of the 3 different accommodations we booked in Iceland this was by far the best. Amazing location and views, felt great after a day of hiking to come back to a quiet place with a beautiful view, made us feel at home and relaxed. The place was clean and had everything you might need. I would highly recommend!
