Everything was perfect! The location is amazing, one of the most beautiful places I have ever been!!!! The room is big, comfortable, clean. You have everything you need in the kitchen. We didn’t use the sauna or hot tub. For sure when we came back to Iceland we will stay here again. It is truly amazing! We could see the northern light just outside our room!

Just book it, it's great! It's a small house, very cozy. Amazing price and the place is very convenient, clean and well located. Be sure to explore the town too.

Creatively designed interior. All that we needed was in the cottage. Great value for little money. Key was waiting in a key box, so we didn't have to rush during the day. Clean. The road nearby was not problematic.

The staff of the hotel are very welcoming and lovely. What a great location close to the old Harbour of Reykjavik and the city centre. The breakfast was amazing and the spa is the icing on the cake. Great hotel and honestly nothing to complain about.

We stayed here for the last two nights of our Iceland trip. Self check in was seamless. Found the room to be neat and clean. The shower drain was blocked which they fixed after we notified them. Breakfast was also decent with all the standard breakfast items.

-Nice room- small but functional, cozy and clean, with cute design solutions, such as the bed being located in a niche; complimentary coffee capsules in the room; no complimentary water due to the fact that the local tap water is among the cleanest in the world and everybody drinks it -The hotel is located directly at the old harbor in close proximity to the city center (4-5 minutes). My room had a view directly to a ship on dry dock ; I guess it's a matter of taste, but in my case it added to the authenticity and I liked it very much. The harbor also offers a lot of restaurants with traditional food (such as the famous lobster soup) and half-day activities such as whale-watching. -Friendly and helpful staff -The hotel is equipped with a good cocktail bar and a charming library to relax -Bear in mind that Iceland is a very expensive country; the hotel is anything but cheap- with all the discounts I paid 210 EUR per night, however compared to the other hotels around the center of this class actually it was the most competitive, so in order to be fair I've decided to state the price as a positive factor, given the overall prices in Reykjavik
