The place is really fantastic !!!! The location, the accomodation, the restaurant ... everything !!! The staff was fantastic, they helped us with the removal of snow around the car, they told us about an aurora during our dinner time, they were very nice. The restaurant is super classy and the food is one of the best!!! The rooms/cottage is super clean and super nice !!! Overall a fabtastic place to stay !!!

Highly recommended for a relaxing and surprisingly luxurious feel. The staff is professional, invaluable, and warm. We stayed in a newly refurbished room on the 2nd floor, featuring an elegant interior, which provided great relaxation and a fantastic view. There is plenty of room in the fridge for picnic groceries, a safe, a Nespresso coffee machine, and a selection of teas in the room. Breakfast is nice, dinner is superb, and there's a cozy bar and sitting area next to the lobby. This was an excellent hotel, the room was spacious and the view was lovely. We ate in the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed the burger and soup. The breakfast choice was varied and plenty of it. The staff were most helpful when I asked for hot water for my flask. Overall this Hotel did exceed my expectations. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed everything about our stay here. Unfortunately we were not lucky enough to see the Northern Lights during our stay but I couldn't imagine a better place to experience them. If we return to Iceland, I will definitely book here again just to have another chance to see them here. It is in a rural location but we found it easy to find with our maps. There is a small grocery store, liquor store and resturant not far away but I recommend bringing food with you due to it's rural location. It had all the amenities we needed and the cabin was comfortable and spacious for our group of 4 adults and one teen. The hot tub was especially nice after a long day of driving.

We stayed for 3 nights, the accommodation is suitable as your base for making trips in the area.
