We loved our stay at Svartaborg. The design of the house is stunning and a wonderfully peaceful environment with a lot of privacy. The view from the window was truly spectacular. The location is ideal if you want to visit Lake Myvatn, Godafoss, Akureyri or Husavik. Our daughter had a broken finger before we arrived at Svartaborg, so we decided to stay in the apartment the next day. That turned out to be the best decision. The apartment was fully equipped for cooking and entertainment, allowing us to rest comfortably. The owner provided clear instructions for finding the house, and it was easy to locate, even when arriving after dark. He also helped us with any questions we had. We hope to visit Iceland again and will definitely return!

Husavik is a lovely town, and this excellent, well appointed apartment guesthouse is two minutes walk from the centre of town. A very comfortable room with everything we needed, including our own patio. Highly recommended. We enjoyed a superb whale watching cruise and the Geosea Thermal Pools are superb.
