This was our best experience with staying in Iceland, we definitely would like to come back again. Everything was really amazing - hosts were very welcoming and friendly, the room was so lovely prepared, kitchen was good equipped, everything was clean and nice, breakfast was great! We felt like being in some friends or relatives house, not just in a guesthouse. We really enjoyed our stay in Holmur and highly recommend it to others.

“The accommodation is beautifully located with a breathtaking view of the glacier. The beds were very comfortable, everything was impeccably clean, and the staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Despite our very late arrival, we were received with great hospitality. Very nice guesthouse, located 40 min from Diamond beach and Glietcher lagoon. Ideal for one night stay. Our room was spacious, worm and with nice views. The breakfast is rich and delicious. If you don’t arrive late you can have a dinner- the lamb from their farm was soo delicious.

We got a corner room from where the view was amazing to the mountains. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, the staff was super kind. The breakfast was really like in a bigger hotel, so many options, fruits, pastries, cereal, everything you fancy before a long day of travelling/hiking.
