A 15mins "private" glacier lagoon boat tour by experienced tour guide was provided before arriving the living hut. The hut was unexpected warm that creating a comfortable sleeping place in glacier lagoon. An wonderful experience we wake up by the sun rising reflected by glacier.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food at both breakfast and dinner were good. The hotel has an excellent location in a quiet village just off the ring road and has a quaint, old church which is still in use.

We stayed in a bungalow next to a sheep farm. There were many cute lambs to watch. The bungalow had all the facilities we needed - refrigerator, cooktop, coffee maker... Clean and quiet. Plenty of room for four adults (parents and adult children).

I enjoyed living in a home designed by an award winning architect. Beautifully appointed with everything to expect in a luxury home. A short drive to glacier hikes and puffin tour. It was a splurge but worth it.
