We had a great one night stay in Dalahyttur, the surrounding ist amazing, the rooms brand new, warm and comfortable. The hosting woman is amazing, and so were dinner and breakfast. We had a delicate storm that night, but we fehlt secure and cosy.

During our trip in Iceland, we stayed in many cottages and this was one of the good ones! The air in the room was fresh and the shared kitchen and bathroom worked great. Everything was also clean and the beds were comfortable. The host was also very helpful and gave us good tips for our next destination.

Sleeping in a old farm house. The inside is authentic. You can use the kitchen. The breakfast was very good and we have a good chat with the land lady.

Great accommodation with everything you could need provided for, even binoculars for looking out over the sea. Lovely breakfast buffet with local cheeses. Great localation between west peninsula and north west fjords. Petrol station, supermarket and restaurant locally.

Stóra-Vatnshorn is located 500 metres from the historic Eiríksstadir site and 17 km from Búdardalur village.

We stayed in a cozy cabin, fully equipped and super clean with wonderfull views. The place is really quiet to relax away from touristic places but also well located for visiting the nearby area. A little sad that we were only staying for one night. We definitely recommend staying here. Hope to come back in the future.

A good location for a relaxing stay in Hjarðarholt, Mirror Suite is a holiday home surrounded by views of the mountain.

The location was excellent, the farm inside the estate made it quite unique, the hot tubs were a big plus (the hotel also provides bathrobes and sliders) and the staff were very polite and cheerful.

Found along Route 1, this modern property is 30 minutes’ drive from Borgarnes. Facilities include the 9-hole Gianni Golf Course. All rooms have a satellite TV and free WiFi.

The location was perfect, there is a volcanic crater within walking distance, and a fabulous lake very close giving spectacular views. The decor and welcome was lovely, Natalie and her partner treated us a special valued guests. Breakfast was perfect. We will definitely recommend to friends and family to stay here when in Iceland.

Amazing location, and really tucked away from anyone else, really comfortable beds, lots of facilities, with washer and dryer I was able to clean all my clothes on our last day in Iceland so got back home with clean clothes. Also was able to rise my car with the hose in the facility room. Cooked a full dinner on the hob and oven and both clean and worked well. The hot tub was nice and warm (bit too warm) but we didn’t follow the instructions on the wall to remove the lid as soon as you arrive to cool down, totally our fault but just a FYI for anyone else coming in.
