Beautiful huts, very cozy. Highly recommend and will try to be back with better weather. Unfortunately we were caught in a storm with strong winds and rain so couldn’t enjoy the outside but had a wonderful time inside the hut

Our stay at this place was great. All went perfect. We got instructions/ message before our arrival about the check-in. We met our guide, who introduced us all necessary things at place. The place is very nicely decorated and furnished. The view from our room and the dinning place was amazing. All was super clean and also quiet. Thank you.

We loved everything about our stay in the Uthlid Cottage. Our favourite place from all the places we stayed in Iceland. It had very authentic, cosy feel. It was well equipped. We had a hot pot outside on the terrace. The views were magical and we also managed to see the northern lights from here. Perfect place would highly recommended.

Haukadur was easy to get around and the geyser is very regular and worth seeing. No long walks available at the site. Visitors centre was okay although light on info as to the geology of the site and how geysers work. Good cafeteria.

I only stayed for one night and I didn't get to use the...

I only stayed for one night and I didn't get to use the kitchen but I could have stayed longer. Lovely kitchen and shared space with a fabulous view across the fields and to the Geyser so close. A lot of care and thought has been put into the guesthouses layout and decor. Quirky and beautiful.

The overnight stay in this structure was amazing: the room was clean and warm with all the with all the necessary comforts. The hotel is near the Gullfoss Waterfall and in a good place for seeing the Northern Lights. They offer for free door knocking service when the Northern Lights are shining. Food was very good, both for breakfast and for dinner.

The hosts are very friendly and attentive. They give you a quick tour and explain all the necessities as you arrive. Hotel is very neat, clean and organized. Looks like an old barn made into something so cozy! The view and the nature is amazing! Domestic animals are the point of attraction for people who are into animals, kids would definitely love it.

It is the perfect place to see the northern lights I wouldn’t go anywhere else for this purpose and the yurts are lovely, warm and cosy. Beata is the best person they have on their staff and their neighbours which also have a beautiful hotel with horse riding are so lovely and supportive.

Room is fine. The location is not bad, walkable to Geysir. No restaurants here, have to walk for dinner and breakfast at Hotel Geysir, luckily no rain.
