A lovely place, slightly off the main road, with clean and comfortable rooms. The shared kitchen is large and very convenient. The surroundings are quiet and remote, creating a peaceful atmosphere. We saw the most beautiful Northern Lights of our trip here.

It is a little off the ring road, but en-route to Detifoss,...

It is a little off the ring road, but en-route to Detifoss, though basicaly in the middle of nowhere. Loved it. The hosts are warm and helpfull, lovely home-made food, great way to learn about the Icelandic way of life, lots of stories. Very friendly and homely. Wish we had stayed at least a day longer.

The owner was exceptionally kind and attentive with us and specially the kids. The house is beautiful and cosy. The breakfeat is a real typical Icelandic one, almost everything made by herself. Worthy to stay there.

A truly welcoming place with kind and helpful owners who are a pleasure to chat with. I highly recommend it! The breakfast is delicious, prepared by them, with a beautiful view. Plus, the house only has two bedrooms, so the bathroom is shared with just one other double.

The scenery around the accommodation is beautiful, it's absolutely peaceful, and the hosts are very pleasant. Breakfast is entirely prepared by the couple, including smoked meat, fish, jam, and pancakes. Very good! The only downside is the access via a dirt track.
