absolutely fantastic place, great troll vibe, passionate owner, restaurant view waterfall view, best breakfasts we had in while Iceland and we also got a great aurora sighting straight from the hot tub!

The facilities were very clean and kitchen had everything you need, even more!

The whole place is not just a farm with cabins, it's a complex with a wonderful view to a waterfall, a walking path with trolls histories, a restaurant and hot tubs for guests. The cabins are very cute, ours in particular was super cozy and warm. We had all that we needed. The check in was super easy and the woman at the front desk was super kind to us.

We loved the bed and slept like a baby all night.

A very nice cottage “in the middle of nowhere”. We booked it for 3 nights as our final destination in Iceland and it was a very good decision. It is amazing waking up in the morning, opening the doors and hearing nothing but the sheep and the birds. From here You can reach Borgarnes and Akranes pretty fast and go for lunch or dinner or just a quick sightseeing of those places. Pro tip: in Akranes you can visit the Gudlaug bath and have a nice dip in the warm pool and after that, cool off in the ocean. Just 2 km away is the public pool where you can go and enjoy your time swimming in the 25m long 35°C pool or just relax in one of the hot tubs which is heated by the hot spring nearby. The cottage looks small from the outside but on the inside it is amazing. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. It even offered drinking chocolate, noodles, salt, pepper, other spices and things. The bed is very nice, there is a cupboard with drawers for the clothes. Outside, enough parking space is available and even a charging station is available. Also, worth a mention, this cottage offers one of the fastest internet connections we encountered in Iceland with a fiber connection and speeds of about 250Mbps for up- and download. If the weather is nice, you can sit outside, enjoy the view and silence. 2 times we had the farmers friendly dog visit us for some belly rubs and to make our day. On the last day we met the farmer who rents out these cottages and he was very nice and warm person. We can highly recommend a stay here especially if You’re looking for a place to chill and relax.

Great hosts and a beautiful guesthouse.

A small gem for anyone who needs a base to visit Snaefellsnes Peninsula or the Golden Circle. The property is a separate house located on the farm. It has a parking spot, naturally heated floors, 2 bedrooms and a living room. Very spacious for 4 people. We loved the hot tub, which Eirikur thoughtfully prepared for us so that it was ready upon arrival, and we and the kids loved selecting a few tomatoes and cucumbers for our dinner (the cherry tomatoes are absolutely delicious). Eirikur even graciously offered to pull a cable from his shed so that we could charge our car! There is even a tiny tiny hotspring right next to the property!

Amazing location Friendly hosts

the hotel was prefect located for our trip. the place is amazing in all aspects. the view, the comfortable rooms, the price, the hot-tub outside, the dining room with the view, and the team which was kind and very open for requests. Breakfast was quite basic but good enough for all of us! my wife and 4 kids climbed on the mountain in front of the hotel for morning astonishing adventure.

I came for second time with a group in that hotel. Excellent services, staff (a special apreciation for Daniel), breakfast. Quiet place, clean.
