Great hotel! Beautifully located in the hills and cozy interior. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the bar/restaurant has a great view. The room itself was super clean, would definitely recommend!

Very quite and cosy lodge. Nicely located for some peaceful days with a waterfall in the backyard. The waiter Artur was the best and most friendly and professional I met on whole Iceland. Food was good and room sizeable (family room) unfortunately only with roof window.

We spent one lovely night at the hotel. The room was really spacious and the view, amazing! Breakfast was delicious with quality ingredients. The staff so kind and accommodating. There’s a supermarket 5 min walk from the hotel. So far our best stay while in Iceland!

The interior decoration is just spectacular -but not only , the hotel has a very authentic northern vibe - the views , the light , the design and location by the sea made our stay a truly unique experience - Hotel Karolina was my favorite accommodation during our 10 days trip in Iceland.

The bedrooms were big and spacy. Breakfast was not officialy included in the price, but it turned out that there was coffee/tea, milk, cereals and jam. You only needed to add bread yourself. There was a refridgerator, dishes/cutleri and a table, where you could eat. The owner was extremely kind and serviceminded.

Located 6 km from Stykkishólmur, Helgafell provides a garden and free WiFi. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom.
